Find this to have a very weird selection of products... Certainly quirky and also a lot of inventory for some very specific jobs that they must get a lot of call for. It's not a useful local hardware store.

I recently ordered a door knob I was trying to match in my home. I initially showed pictures to an employee who was to forward it on to Jill the person who handles the orders. I spoke with her and thought I was giving her the correct information but the knob that came in was not the one I wanted. Several gentleman attempted to help me as she was not there. When Jill did arrive she acted completely frustrated and angry with me yelling at me that she had ordered what I asked for. Indeed she probably had, but since I had previously show another employee the picture of what wanted... I was just trying to match what I had. I think yelling at a customer is completely unacceptable. I have purchased many things thru Ring's End for years, I will no longer darken their doors. Please be sure if you do have to place a special order you are well educated as to what you need. Barbara

I NEVER leave reviews, but I have to vent - as a committed and experienced DIY’er, who has lived less than a mile from this location for 60y, I have learned that unless you are a contractor - avoid it like the plague! Today I have a sick family member and took a chance to stay in town, I should have kept driving- they had what I needed on the shelf marked with a price but couldn’t sell it to me and of course it turned into thing and I left!

So in the past week I have gone to the store purchased 8-10 gallons of eggshell paint paid too dollar - the clerk even laughed and said hey you should have an account well I go again to buy 2 more cans - talking to the staff in a friendly manner - when I get home I realize that they mixed the color in a semi-gloss; well that now is useless as I cannot paint the walls with a semigloss I contact to store speaking to burly gentlemen who in a sense says why didn't I recognize that it wasn't in a eggshell and how is it their problem I explain to the sales character that why would I ask for semi gloss when for the past week you have mixed me eggshell multiple times then said well how do we prove we did it - I said well I didn't mix the paint, you did and you mixed it in the wrong finish well after saying that - the fella says well there little proof, I reminded him that I am not in the business of mixing paint or reviewing what someone does for a living he then suggested that I come down to the store and see what we can do, I said this is what I want to be made while and have the proper paint as I do not have the time nor the energy to monkey around with him apparently he was not too keen on this and said well there isn't anything we can do I then told him that for the very first time that I would write a review beware make sure to check your paint because the knuckleheads (guy with the beard) doesn't pay attention to his craft

Rings end has it all at the store if they font have somting they will find it . I shop there for a long time ish they never disappointed me .Store has friendly and helpful personal and don't forget they will deliver on orders 500 usd and up . You can buy evrything online and get it delivered to your location for free . Excellent. IF you think they are expensive its not thru i found that there prices and quality of materials actually sometimes more affordable and much better then in other places like Home Depot or Lowes.
