Dropped off my two wedding dresses to be tightened/pulled in. They took my measurements. I paid. We confirmed the date of pick up. I confirmed my wedding date with them as well so they would understand that the 2 weeks they said they needed was the maximum allotted time I could give before picking up the dresses.2 weeks later, I get to the store and firstly, they can’t find my outfits. Then, they state that they forgot my date and my dresses were never looked at or fixed. Lastly, that there were issues with their seamstress, that’s why it didn’t get done.I don’t understand how a bridal shop of all stores can demonstrate such unprofessional and incompetent behavior. Wedding outfits are a massive stress to deal with as is, without stores screwing it up.I was fortunate enough to be able to take my dresses to a competent tailor instead, who for the work done within a day. Because that’s how minimal the adjustments were in the first place, but Shingar chose to waste my time instead and displayed zero remorse.

I went here for a wedding guest outfit. I had no idea what I was looking for or what to ask. The staff was extremely helpful and recommended great outfits within my budget. They were great with the timing since this was last minute. The lehenga was beautiful but when I first got it some stitches were out I called and they fixed the issue right away no questions asked. Very helpful and patient

When it comes to Aman, I have trouble knowing where to start. I will start with saying the quality of her products from design to color to ranges of options is so good that I was able to pick my wedding Lengha without hesitation, and believe it or not on my first trip! The same day I also purchased all the dresses for my events as well as my family's dresses. Since then she has gone above and beyond to help me with CUSTOM pieces for my bridesmaids. She turned a stressful situation into happy experience, and if it wasn't for her exceptional customer service I would have lost all my hair by now ! Would most definitely recommend shopping here !

I will start with saying the quality of her products from design to color to ranges of options is so good that I was able to pick my wedding Lengha without hesitation, and believe it or not on my first trip! The same day I also purchased all the dresses for my events as well as my family's dresses. Since then she has gone above and beyond to help me with CUSTOM pieces for my bridesmaids. She turned a stressful situation into happy experience, and if it wasn't for her exceptional customer service I would have lost all my hair by now ! Would most definitely recommend shopping here !

I’ll start by saying I am so happy my family and I got to shop at Shingar Bridal. Went in looking for indian wear for different events. The owner and staff were so helpful that it made the experience worth it. We were suggested what combinations would suit for an event and they also offered matching jewelry with the outfits. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable and the quality of the outfits was visibly good. We ended up buying everything from here and will surely come back for future events.Highly suggest visiting Shingar Bridal for any events for both men and women!

Shingar bridal wear is the best store for all your needs which include Tailoring, saree plating and Alteration. The customer service was beyond expectational. They quickly found a style and outfit to fit my needs. I highly recommend to all clients for indian wear for all your occasions.

There is no option for no stars and that is exactly what this "store" deserves. In April 2021, I visited this store with my husband and mother-in-law. Please note that my husband/MIL are not Indian and I believe that is the basis for the treatment we received at the hands of this store. The prices were marked up by 300%, a fact I discovered after speaking with my Indian friend who priced the same outfits we bought after the fact. My MIL's outfit looked like a child glued glitter onto it and, when she wore it, there was a trail of fake glitter behind her. Despite the outfit being "customized", I had to spend more money to take it to an actual tailor. For this, we were charged the astronomical price of $350. My MIL cares for her elderly mother and lives far outside of the city. This was our only opportunity to shop for an outfit for her and so we had no choice. Further, my husband's Sherwani needed to be custom made as he is a large man. We stood in store, speaking to Aman, in April 2021. She looked me in the eyes and she PROMISED that she would deliver by the first week of May. She did not. In fact, she pretended to not remember this when we called. Over the next two months, my husband and I called and called and called. Each time, we were repeatedly lied - "It will be here on by June 15th" "It will be here next Thursday." "I have a tracking number now." She even promised to refund our money, even if the Sherwani arrived. MERE DAYS before our wedding, the Sherwani did arrive and my husband and Indian friend went to pick it up. On that day, Aman pretended that we had not PAID IN FULL AND IN ADVANCE for the Sherwani. She actually tried to charge my husband AGAIN! Luckily, my husband had a receipt - which we had to ask for after purchasing the outfits; she did not offer it. Now, to the outfit itself - to say that I am embarrassed that my husband had to wear that outfit is an understatement. The sleeves of the outfit and beading are in tatters, pulling apart at the seams. Aman/Shingar Bridal has completely ruined my wedding for all eternity and embarrassed me in front of my family/friends. Please do not shop here ever.

RESPONSE TO OWNER’S LIES BELOW:My Sherwani was supposed to arrive in the beginning of May. That’s what was promised to me. Please do not lie to the public like you did to me. While I recognize that math may not be your strong point, there are only 7 days between June 25, 2021 (the day my Sherwani arrived) and July 2, 2021, the date of my wedding. I can now see that you are the liar and not your contact overseas. I promise you will never see or hear from me or my fiancé again. You did me no favor except cause undue stress for my wedding. You also tried to double collect money from me when my Sherwani finally arrived 2 weeks later. Thankfully, I came with a copy of my receipt that showed it was paid in full. Similarly I won’t send any additional business your way, especially since 1) the jewelry on my Sherwani is already falling off after just 4 days after I picked it up and 2) my mom’s dress came with a broken zipper that we had to get fixed with a different seamstress. Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. I should have left my original review and never provided the update, but unlike you, I believe in honesty and transparency. DO NOT SHOP HERE!UPDATED REVIEWPreviously, I reviewed this place and gave them a very negative review because they failed to provide my Sherwani. The background story is below. To be clear, my issue was not just that I didn't have a sherwani 1 week before my wedding. It was also the store's constant miscommunication and inability to give me accurate information about when my sherwani would arrive. I'm still uncertain whether these miscommunications were intentional by the store or resulted from the store being misinformed by its overseas factory/contact. Either way, out of fairness, I want to provide the following update. Since I posted that review, I received my sherwani (two months later than I was originally supposed to), but fortunately, before my wedding. While I still believe the entire situation was not handled properly, I'm thankful to finally have my sherwani. As I told the owner, if she was being misled by her overseas factory/contact, then she may want to reconsider doing business with that factory. Regardless, as I told her before, I'm thankful to finally have my sherwani and can breath a sigh of relief. The sherwani also looks very nice. So when you shop here, shop with caution if your outfit has to be custom stitched overseas.PRIOR REVIEWThis place is the worst! They lied to me for two months about my Sherwani for my wedding knowing I'm a larger guy that requires a custom made one. My sherwani was supposed to arrive in the beginning of May. Then India shut down due to Covid. I contacted them to find out whether they would still be able to get my sherwani on time for the wedding in early July or if I should consider looking elsewhere. I was assured that despite the shutdown, my Sherwani would arrive by the third week of May. I called again two weeks later and then was assured by the end of May. I called at the end of May and then was assured by the first week in June. They even showed me an alleged picture of my sherwani being made. Then in June, I call again and am told yet another lie. Now its the end of June, the week before my wedding and I have no sherwani as the GROOM. Rather than even apologize about completely screwing my wedding, the owner tries to see if I'll wait another 5 days claiming, again, that she's sure it will arrive by then. I don't fault anybody for Covid shutting down a country. But the repeated lies, false assurances, and deceit are completely inexcusable. I'm at a loss right now with my wedding happening in a few days. Again, I say, do NOT shop here.
