βVery helpful, Amazon sent me a package with missing pieces he went through a few screws before we found the right one that fixed instead of the hex screws and right size. He saved me $32 on screws for a simple project that Amazon was going to charge me forβ¦ he only charged me $6 for the 16 screws and bolts. Spoke to the owner and he has been in the area for 32 years.β
βSmall hardware store, but still has almost anything you need and theyβll order new products to meet the needs of the community if they donβt have something you need! The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful, especially Ali, who helped me out my first time in!β

βIt is my favorite to go place in the whole NYC to buy paints. Whenever I come I always go straght to Sophiya, she is the most knowlegeable and professional specialist in thus entity. βIf you are looking for personable service you will find it at Sugarhill Hardware. No way could I have called or walked into a major retailer like Home Depot or Lowes and received the support ( that's beyond service) that I received from this family-owned business. I called, they listened and dispatched a well qualified family member to my home ASAP to correct a plumbing issue. I have never seen anything like it. Professional & serious about my plumbing issue in less than an hour my old faucet was removed and a new one installed. The price was soooo right!!! Thank you Marco (Dad) & sons Jeremy, & Marvin. βGreat old school hardware store with knowledgeable and helpful employees. Been going there for years.Went there today, in the snow storm, to see if they had a pull string starter for my snowblower. After standing around there for about 15 minutes and wondering what's taking so long, the lady comes out with the part fixed! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting to buy the part, install it and fix it myself. All we had to do was go back home and screw it on and Bam it worked. You don't get that kind of service in the big box stores. And they really do have anything you'll ever need there.β

βAs a young adult living in NYC, a lot of emergencies come up. We have always had a good experience with emergency shopping trips here. They have been helpful with paint supplies, key duplication, plumbing emergencies, etc. I appreciate having a convenient business with helpful staff members that are nice (which isn't always the case in NYC). Much better than big box stores for most things. And fair prices, too. Standard key duplication is only $2.Definitely recommend for convenience, answering questions and guiding me to products for my project.β
βI got a spray paint from this store to do my project. I could order from online website, but I just want to feel and see the real color. The price is higher but I will get the paint right away so I decided to pay extra buck to just get a paint in the store. The paint is pretty good and service in the store is good too.β
βPersonally i think we are lucky to have this store right here. Staff is great and knowledgeable and almost always find what I need.....and I don't have to do the big crowded Home Improvement stores !!! Pricing is fair and quality of product is great !!β

βBest local hardware store. Jimmy the owner cares about all his customers amd extends every courtesy. He is so knowledgeable about most home and even commercial repairs or installations that its a place you can trust. Anyone with an issue can get the advice and help to tackle any job no matter your skill level. Its well worth the extra buck or two for materials because you actually have someone that knows about the jobs you need to do and the materials needed. You go to home depot and all you get is a shrug and or sorry I can't help you that's another departmentβ
βThe location very convenient if you work in Fresh Meadov, They have almost everything electric,lumber and plumbing.Few years ago they try to push price up then a lot of people resign to supply here,Why to paid more if you can get the same items 25% less.I been in store few days ago and was wonder price going back to normal.Good job .Especially nice to made deal with Isaak he know a lot about material he sell.β
