Citibank randomly closed out my account of 30 plus years with zero reason. tried to make a deposit and my card didnt work apprantly my account was being cancelled teller stated they couldn't do anything at the bank to call customer service. Customer service told me they (rep and supervisor) couldn't do anything that I should see someone at the bank. (run around) During my time going to the bank they always tried to get me to enroll in a long term CDs. But when I started taking money out that stopped and my account is being cancelled. Seems they desperately need you money to lend to other folks. Doing research this seems to be happening to a lot of people especially long term users, they are also using AI to replace actual people and the AI may be falsely flagging accounts for cancellation. They also terminated a lot of employees recently. I will never use citibank ever again. They do not value their customer of have any sort of legit customer service. I will also be contacting The NYS banking dept etc. as this may be a discrimination case. To anyone using citibank get out while you can. Branches have been closing, accounts randomly closing and employees being fired.

Honestly tired of walking in here and seeing panhandlers or bums hanging in there when I go to the atm, smelled like urine bad today and always stinks in there. The machines never get wiped down and the atm machines always dirty as can be and dusty. You all are a bank, you telling me someone can't wipe the machine with windex or 99% alcohol to clean the screen with grease and finger prints all over it. I'm usually not the type to comment and report and complain but enough is enough. Do something as soon as possible or I will call corporate to complain some more. Side note Fred, since my complaint the machines are still dirty and unsanitary this has to be one of the dirtiest citi banks I went too. Unbelievable you couldn't have someone clean and wipe machines down.

This bank deserves 0 stars honestly the worst you come in and your waiting an hour for one person to speak to you. Then they have a worker who's seems sweet but stay messing up your information. I came two months ago to open an account and baby she spell my name ring and i had to learn from fraud department the my social was typed in wrong. On top of that city bank is closing my account but yet can't release my money to me two months without money nothing. I told my mailbox broken they don't care they still trying to send a check in the mail make it make sense. I have had an account since 2014 when Wells Fargo stole from me now this i want to file a complaint and put in a grievance

This is an excellent bank for those serviced by Citibank. Employees are knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and kind. On some days, lines can be long but for the most part, one can get in and out fairly quickly. This is one of Citibank's best branches.

I would rate this location zero stars if I could. Yesterday, I was having some confusion with depositing a check electronically, I asked a nearby employee HEAMRAGIE DURBEEJ for help and she responded with "Well, you should've been paying been paying attention!" She NEVER helped me, only expressed annoyance. I told her "wow, you really don't like to help people." and she responded with "oh thank you" in a very sarcastic attitude.

Worst location ever. Bibi Lall is the worse person to go to. She doesn’t know what she’s doing and she doesn’t explain things properly. Went to another location and she explained things a million times better. Bibi Lall is unprofessional and cared more about my family gossip rather than helping me. She had numerous complaints against her and nothing has been done. Do not go here.

Tellers are inattentive, very slow, and have no regard for cusomer service or other peoples time. There are currently 6 employees behind the counter and all are assisting one customer for the last 20 minutes. 8 customers currently waiting.

I had an account with Citi bank for years and one day suddenly they blocked my account without giving me any info.. I keep on asking why they close my account, but they keep on saying they don’t know. And I have only one account which was blocked and all my money was stuck. They didn’t send me any notice or email. When I go to this branch they say nothing is in our hand. I told them I have a right to know whats going on with my money. And after My so many calls and complaints finally they send me a cheque after after 60 days.. It was so frustrating and worst bank ever . They must change there policy else they will loose all there customers

Late review but Worst place ever...it was my first time opening an account and this guyanese lady was so rude to me instead of being helpful. I hate when people come to this country and act like they're better than everyone else. If she has no kind way of providing customer service then she shouldn't be working at a place like that.

I went to this place and was not satisfied with the service because I applied for my account and I was supposed to receive my bank card within a week but a month passed by I did not receive any card. I had to go back to this place and ask them wht wrong and I came to find out that the person who opened my account never ordered my car even tho I told them multiple times to order my card. Also, the person who opened my account did not give me all the correct information. I had to ask someone else instead.

My wife had opened a Citi Priority Checking Account in November 2021. After the Debit Card was activated, we transferred money from other bank to the Citi Priority Checking Account. The amount was showing as Pending on that day. After 2-3 days when we logged into my Citi Account, the Citi Priority Checking Account was showing as Blocked. We tried calling Customer Service so many times but none of them are helping me out. All the Customer Service Representative said, "Your account is blocked and they can't help" and hung up the phone. Worst part is, “We have not received any single email or mail from the Citi Bank regarding why my account was Blocked by Citi” We are absolutely terrified with the type of service Citi Customer Service has provided. One thing is for sure that Citi doesn’t care about it’s Customer. I would not recommend to do any business with Citi Bank.
