I always try to shop local and let the working guy get some work. Went in on a Friday and the mechanic made an appointment for me on Monday. He said he'd get the parts in and be ready for me. No worry, no hurry. Go in on Monday and he had not ordered parts. I ended up going to Mavis and was in and out in 3 hours. Sure sorry it didn't work out, but I won't waste my time again

Absolutely never will we be bringing our vehicles to Fernette's ever again. It's unfortunate because when the father ran the shop, no complaints. The son (I'll avoid using his name)is running it now and he worked on our car. Our car broke down in December and the son said we could keep it at the shop for a few months til we came up with he cash to fix the car. At this point, I wish we just had it towed home. We were given a time when the car would be finished (1 week) we are only just now getting our car after more than 4 weeks. Every update with the car, we had to basically chase the son down to get updates and because he wasn't honoring the times or calling us to update, we had to call him over and over just to be told "oh hopefully next week". We understand it was a big job and apparently there's some staffing that quit, and there are other customers to work with, but we NEVER felt like a priority at all as we waited blindly in limbo for our car. When we realized the son was avoiding contact with us, and we confronted him, he told his daddy that we told him to "go /expletetive/ himself" (false) and I was told never to call the shop again (OK lol). The son's biggest issue is communication and incompetence. Why he runs the shop now, I've no clue. We have been going to Fernette's for about 6 years and still need more work done....someone else more competent will be getting our business in the future. $6k and their work ethics are as laughable as their ability to do competent work in a timely manner. They are laughably a joke. I recommend finding another mechanic; unless you wanna put any plans you have on hold until the son figures out customer service and cars.

I’ve been a happy customer of Fernettes for a few years, for my trucks and my family’s cars. It’s a family owned shop, decent people, and good to work with. I have found them to be a very honest shop and the work they have done on my vehicles has been excellent.While I try to plan ahead and make an appointment - it is a very busy shop, I have also rolled in right before a road trip to do some maintenance, and had trucks towed to them that needed significant work. I’ve had frame repair done, also a great job.Customer service here is really good, and these folks have taken care of me in a pinch and worked things out every time, so I am a long term customer for sure.Overall, this is probably the best shop I have been to. Highly recommended.Services: Exhaust

Horrible services. Kept my car for 5 months then called me up to say they couldn't fix it and that I should come pick it up, "but don't worry because we did not charge you ". If the ratings system had a negative star that's what I would give them and they have earned. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Reviews on yelp also.
