I have great confidence in him, and would always entrust him to care for my pets' well-being. Doctor K also always calls promptly, when he promises a call about a test result, and he also takes the time to email answers and advice to my concerns. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in offering solutions. Most of all, he provides a plan and next steps for all of my furbabies, which is very helpful in a multi-pet home in keeping everyone on track. I have been with Dr. K for many years, dating back to when he did acupuncture on my dog. I would highly recommend Yorktown Animal Hospital and their sister location Peekskill Animal.”

“What a great find. My feline had a tumor on her head, one of the bad kinds.I didn’t think traditional surgery would have been worth it for a variety of reasons, eg., her advanced age, general anaesthesia, recovery limitations). Read about CO2 Lasers for tumours. I couldn’t find anyplace in NYC that did it (but there may be), but I did find Cross River Animal Hospital which is less than an hour from the city. Dr. Mayland and staff are great…very smart and very kind. The Doctor explained everything about the procedure and post-procedure expectations clearly. He was eager to answer my gazillion questions. He was able to use local anaesthesia which made a huge difference…she was happy and without complaints as soon as laser surgery was finished, which wasn’t very long.Pricing was fair and clearly explained. Would recommend highly.”

The vets never pushed me to pay for anything that wasn’t medically necessary. They always showed compassion and care. I cannot say the same for any other vet clinics in the area and we tried most of those before coming here!”

“After being to over a handful of other Vets all over our area the past 2 weeks I was Skeptical about this last Referral, but let me tell you I had nothing to worry about . The staff are Awesome here , very knowledgeable, polite and caring . In 1984, Dr Wilson was made a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in Canine and Feline Practice. That should tell you he knows his Stuff and cares about what he's doing. My cat was in Ketoacidosis wasnt going to live much longer and all the other Vets wanted to do was Refer me somewhere else or tell me to get care credit for Thousands and thousands of dollars. He got her right in and started working on her , few days later and she's back to normal and on the Rd to Recovery. They worked with me on the Bill and made It seem like it was the least important part of the visit. This place is a Gem ? . I will be bringing all my other pets here for the rest of my life. Don't bring your pet anywhere else!”
“We are among the first pet people to use the services of SPAHin the early 80’s. I was excited to bring my pets to a women led veterinary hospital - a rarity back in the day. Every person at SPAH is skilled, professional, compassionate and loves animals.When our current cat was very ill, the doctors suggested a complicated surgery, but they left the choice to us and never ran a guilt trip on us as some vets might have.Today our boy is healthy and stays at the Meowiott when we are away. “My previous vet in Cross River put my pet through unnecessary exams and inconvenienced us with irregular hours. Despite their posted schedule, I arrived on three separate occasions only to find the clinic closed and locked. Moreover, they showed disrespect towards my easygoing, elderly father. But since discovering Goldens Bridge Veterinary Care Center (GBVCC), those issues are now history. In stark contrast, Dr. Immerblum and his team at GBVCC prioritize animal well-being and are mindful of costs. They went above and beyond to obtain my dog's records from previous providers and ensured our comfort throughout the transition. During our initial visit, Dr. Immerblum dedicated more than an hour to getting to know my dog and answering my questions. Unlike my previous experience, GBVCC is reliably open during regular business hours, with staff available until midnight and even later for emergencies. The difference is remarkable. Their recommendation from a neighbor was spot-on, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I can't express enough how wonderful they've been.”
“Best vet clinic! I’m a nervous dog Mom & the staff are always happy to answer my many questions, attentively. My dog is greeted with love, every time. The level of care is above and beyond. They provide excellent, detailed treatment plans and the level of expertise in the vets/techs is extremely evident. Anyone who has been to a different clinic, knows how difficult it is to find both vet & staff that you can TRULY trust with your beloved pet. At every other vet clinic I’ve tried, my dog was either misdiagnosed, mistreated or injured - it’s heartbreaking. It’s relieving to know that anytime my dog comes in, he is getting the best quality of care and being treated with kindness. “I have been taking my rescues to Progressive Animal Hospital since I moved to Mount Kisco in 2011. I feel very lucky. I had a 16 year old orange tabby who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease who lived until 23yrs old under their care. Her quality of life was amazing and in good weather she insisted on making it outside every day until she passed. Dr Frishman, his clinical team, and Deena at the front desk are highly competent, very personable, and treat my rescues in a caring, gentle manner. His assessments are thorough and practical, only ordering tests and treatments that need to be done after explaining everything and going over options. When there is an acute physical issue or distress, he and his team move quickly and decisively with interventions for the best possible outcome. In the past five years I've had three furry additions to my rescue family. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that I have such a reliable Veterinarian team at Progressive Animal Hospital to provide for their care.”
