2 years in a row when cruising the southern side of the lake we have needed urgent assistance for mechanical problems, once for a snapped halyard and the other for a damaged water pump impeller. Both times we stopped at Katlynn Marine where Chis and his crew promptly and efficiently went out of their way to get us patched up and back onto the lake. I highly recommend this service department.

The service staff at Katlynn’s marine was outstanding. Doug, Chris, Brett worked above and beyond to get my boat ready for sea trial. A very special thank you and acknowledgment to Brett who continued to pursue getting the boat ready for the test run. He was knowledgeable, consistent and dependable in getting the job done on time. The outcome was successful and I highly recommend this team if you need services performed on your boat.

I wanted to get my boat restored, 2005 Bass Tracker, new deck from bow to stern, new carpet,and make a couple of small modifications for my comfort, and check a few things to make sure they're working and repair if needed. The guy I spoke with (Chris) gave me an estimate that was higher than I expected, but I agreed to pay. When I got the boat back, I was livid at the shoddy job that took him all winter to complete, and the cost of the job went up by almost 2000.00 dollars. I almost didn't pay, but I wouldn't have gotten my boat back if I didn't, and he knew this. So a job estimated for 4000+ ended up being 6000+. Some of the work started falling apart by the following season, and there were a few unexplainable things wrong with the boat that weren't a problem when I gave it to him. He took out a one-piece lower deck and replaced it with two pieces. There was work I asked him to do that never got done. I didn't get to inspect the work because he covered it before he contacted me to let me know it was finished. I just completed the work myself in 2023. He had the boat the entire winter of 2019/2020. I would not recommend this marina to wash your boat! If they see an advantage that they can take, they will. It took me 3 years to finish the job I overpaid them to do. And I'm still paying for the job they didn't do very well!

Thank goodness for Brad, mechanic who in less than 20 minutes had the hose for fuel reconnected and fixed with a new one . We have our boat back and ready to sail. Thank you. A gift to have Kaitlin services so close!

USED to be a decent marina. Last 3 years it has really declined.Clubhouse & bathrooms are nice. Ships store run by Bill is good.Service dept is the WORST ! Shoddy workmanship at twice the price. Used to be good but lost all their good people because of the marina "manager".Speaking of which, he's THE reason for the ongoing decline. NASTY temper, horrible with customers, in WAY over his head & seems to have a problem with "cocktails".Very unfriendly atmosphere there.There are WAY better marina's on Sodus Bay.

The entire staff of the service department at Katlynn Marine are extremely skilled at the trade. They will take on any task that is presented to them In a professional manner. Teamwork is paramount in such a business and it is evident that the management staff goes above and beyond to see that all marina issues are handled with ease. Katlynn marine is a well run marina and IS the best marina on Sodus Bay. Definitely stop by and check them out

Dee Q Real name Dan Quinlan, Grow up and get a set. You actually managed to get yourself thrown out of there which is hard to do. Now you are butt hurt. Settle down boy. Every person there is top notch but they just couldn't fix your special kind of stupid.

Good marina. Great location. Service department is atrocious. Marina amenities are great. Jennylee (who actually runs the marina) is superior. Bill VanGee is amazing. The so called manager (Doug Cleveland) is an inept, out of his element, ill tempered COWARD. Avoid this moron at all costs.
