Overcharging for unreasonable prices. I went to get an inspection and I have recently replaced my windshield wipers two weeks ago. They didn’t pass it because they told me the wipers are not OEM. So to pass I have to replace the wipers again with their “OEM”

You’ll be lucky if they even pick up the phone. Everytime I call no one picks up and if they do I am sitting on the phone for 20 minutes to try and make an appt. This place is awful.

Overcharging for parts and services at 200-300%
4 Tires exchange went from 100$ to 485$ only for 2 TPMS sensors at double of their own online price with reprogramming fee of 175$ (5 minutes of work).
It was too late to take car back as it was in the process.
Also, needed door handle for my Sienna and was told it will be 600$ - same part online from this dealership is 189$.
I do understand cost of running business, but charging customers 200-300% of market price is pure greed. Not to say that service hourly rate is ridiculous…
That’s why dealerships getting called “stealerships”
Everything else is fine?
It makes sense to use them only for covered services - otherwise it is rip off!

I needed service on my 2020 Toyota Camry. Two rear tires, tire rotation and alignment with oil change. All day service they informed me despite having 8:30 am. Appt.Think I had to donate a kidney to pay for that service!!. Only kidding, Canceling that service and went to Tires City in Centreach. Same service but saved $300!! I get to keep my kidney.

Terrible service7:00am appointment for an oil change and a inspection. Wouldn't do the inspection because a crack on passenger side of windshield along bottom. Insurance company said it wasn't necessary because of location. I said no problem just do oil change. 2 hours later my truck comes out from back and mechanic brings keys back like job is done. He is now on his way to grab is next job looks under my truck then proceededs to run back grab my keys and drives my truck back into back. The truck returns to the done parking lot about 15 minutes later. While I'm waiting for the cashier to call on me while trying to field the 9:30 -10:00 appointments I notice a puddle under my truck. I go out to look and it's oil and it's dripping from my front skid plate and under carriage. I tell the poor overwhelmed cashier and she tells the mechanic and he brings truck back for third time. They told me there was nothing wrong with truck it was just from oil being changed. All said and done was almost there 3 hours. The service department is so miss managed it's sad. The mechanics look like inexperienced children the music coming from the garage is so loud and obnoxious, they have one person trying to run the front and it shows. This is my first ever review in my 47 years. You would think you purchase a $70,000 truck you could actually get some decent service. This country is doomed if this becomes the new normal!!!!!!!!

Would give them a ZERO, ratings don't work that way. I was looking for a Toyota Part, got the part number from Toyota.I spoke to their parts department and was told $129.95 for part.I've had dealings with these people in the past, the MSRP is $99 per Toyota.NY state law, if they are selling over list price, have to advise customer, which they never do.I'm going to contact BBB.Typical disgrace

Took my car in for an oil change on 9/18/23 and afterwards the hood no longer latched safely closed. When I drove it back to them less than two days later, they said they would fix it, after special ordering the part and getting me in over a week later (obviously super unsafe to drive around with a car hood semi-unlatched). Took it to another Toyota dealership and they said both the latch and the cable were broken (Smithtown said the cable was fine when they checked) and now it’s going to cost me $600+ to get something fixed that was never an issue until I took it to Smithtown for routine service. Really sad, because the service department here used to be really on top of things.Edit: Both the Service Department and the Customer Relations department contacted me following this incident. They did talk to the Service Department on not allowing unsafe vehicles back on the road, but said the hatch breaking was due to 'wear and tear' and that the cable was not broken (even though the other dealership said it was broken in conjunction with the hatch and showed me the broken parts). Neither of these staff examined the vehicle when it had returned on 9/21/23, so they are basing the 'wear and tear' on a hypothesis. They said I could come back to have them look at the vehicle/to discuss in person, but why would I take additional time off work and drive an hour to have them look at a repair already completed and continue to have them say they weren't responsible for the latch breaking? I was offered a free oil change...less than 10% monetary value of the repair bill I just paid. Also, why would I return for an oil change when an oil change was the reason I suddenly had a huge repair?

This establishment is not customer centered or works as a team at all. I brought my car in to have a noise in my engine looked at and my rear brakes replaced for a 7:30 appointment I made.During my stay while waiting for my car one of the customer representatives audibly said to a Spanish customer, "sir you don't have to yell " (this individual was not yelling but speaking in a normal tone, and merely trying to articulate the spelling of his name and his phone number). Ive heard similar interactions, as well as non-teamwork oriented comments between crew when I have been here in the past as well.My car was not taken to be seen till 830. When "complete" my rear brakes had been replaced and I was assured that that was the source of the noise. As I leave the parking lot noise is still apparent. I don't believe they even tried to find the source or drive my car to hear it as requested. I gave this place too many chances as it was and I will never be back.

Great service center. They have the main building and then they have another service center just west of it which has plenty of space for waiting room and excellent service. Thanks Ms. Ramirez for the great assistance.
