I went to Ace Hardware on June 23, 2022, my husband asked me to go for him, I went with a plumbing question, not knowing what I was talking about, I asked for help and a worker said I'll get Dan, he knows everything, I spoke with Dan, who was so willing to help me with my plumbing question, he went above and beyond helping me. He set me up with everything I needed to take care of the plumbing issue we were having, with Dan's help my husband was able to fix the problem within ten minutes, I can't say enough about Ace Hardware in Smithtown, but I can surely say Dan is the Man for all your hardware needs.Nancy S

Why does anyone shop at this ACE or any other. I try to, I really do but their prices are ridiculously high. Not even close. I always say that I don't mind if something is 1.00 more one way or the other but they are consistently higher than anyone else. Today I went into buy one thing, JB WELD. It sells between 5.50 and 6.98 where ever you look, except ACE. At ACE is 9.98. No BS. I asked if they price match and abruptly told no. So off to LOWES I went. I don't know about you but I would never spend $3 more (60% higher) for anything that is available everywhere. Come on ACE. it happens all the time. Your prices are crazy. ACE ISN'T THE PLACE!!!!
