Blydenburgh Dog Park Area is a really wonderful, amazing, and great place. It is a large, open, spacious, and grass-covered park with a lot of great features. The best and most unique feature is its enclosed wooded area, a forest that is fenced in, which makes it a perfect and interesting natural setting for dogs to explore, sniff, and play off-leash. The park is thoughtfully designed with ample shade, more grass than dirt, and a huge dog run with a ton of room for running and fetch. For convenience, the park provides water bowls, a water outlet, and a water fountain for dogs, as well as chairs and tables for owners to sit and relax. The surrounding area offers great views, awesome hiking trails, and a huge lake where dogs can play, though the former lake area has dangerous sinking mud and should be avoided. Canoes and kayaks are also available to rent. While the grass can get muddy and messy, especially with snow remains, it remains a wonderful place overall that dogs absolutely love, making the experience comfortable and happy for both pets and their owners.
