“I had a major leak in my car-my carpets were saturated with water. My air conditioning line was leaking onto the floor of my car . The entirety of the floor of the car was saturated .I went to Smithtown Toyota who wanted to charge me for all kinds of stuff that I didn't need. I left Toyota , borrowed a wet dry vac and did what I could to get out as much water as I was able to and went to a couple different places to see about getting the carpet taken out and cleaned. It smelled horrible and the carpet was still saturated .* I was referred to Smithtown Auto Trim.Al the owner, was a gentleman .He diagnosed the problem accurately and took apart my car,assessed what needed to be done to make sure I had no moisture, mildew, or damage, and put everything back together.He was honest, fair, and straightforward.I especially appreciate him taking the time to explain to me what the problem was and how to prevent it . When I got my car back, it smelled good and my carpets were clean and dry.I appreciate his professionalism.I will never go back to Toyota again.What I learned today is that if you want a professional job done, you bring it to a professional -and that is Al.
