Can't say enough about this wonderful place. The docs, the office staff -- all caring, responsive, and professional. I especially like how Dr. Lexie thinks "outside the box" when she's had to deal with tough issues a couple of my kitties have presented. Highly recommend.

Dr Lexi Becker is a chip off the old block and an honor to her fathers legacy! How proud he must be!
Years ago, we took our cats to Dr Ed Becker and now we go to his daughter Lexi. She's wonderful and so very pleasant to deal with. She is very patient and takes her time when examining our babies. She is not condescending, nor does she make you feel rushed. She literally spends quality time listening and talking with you. I've had several questions since our appointment that she's quick to respond to. Plus, prescriptions are usually ready the same day I call them in! The staff is awesome too, particularly Brenna, who has been really helpful to us!
Also, I appreciate their active involvement in helping to save wildlife. Many times, I have brought them injured squirrels, possums, and bunnies. Their walls are decorated with wildlife paintings...
I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I wanted to express my utmost satisfaction with The Animal Hospital and its exceptional staff. Dr. Lexi and her team have consistently provided professional and courteous care for my three dogs. Their knowledge and expertise are truly commendable. Additionally, the state-of-the-art facility further reassures me that my pets are receiving the best possible care and disease prevention.

For the past 13 years, The Animal Hospital has been a second home to my beloved dog, Gertie, and me. This past Tuesday marked a profoundly sad milestone as I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to say goodbye to Gertie. Throughout this difficult time, the staff at The Animal Hospital were nothing short of exceptional, accommodating us with immense compassion as we awaited the arrival of family and my mother’s dog, ensuring we could all say our final goodbyes together.
Reflecting on the years of care and support we’ve received, I am filled with gratitude towards the entire team. The veterinarians have consistently shown an extraordinary blend of professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern for Gertie’s well-being. Their commitment to providing the best possible care, from major procedures like TPLO surgery and guidance for her back injury to her end-of-life care, has been remarkable.
I would like to extend a special thank you to Maureen, who, in my heart, I believe was Gertie’s favorite. Your kindness and love for the animals in your care do not go unnoticed.
To the entire team at The Animal Hospital, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your unwavering support and care over the years have made all the difference. You’ve not just treated my pet; you’ve nurtured a part of my family. For everything you’ve done for Gertie and for us, I am eternally grateful.

A good mechanic and a good contractor… we dream of finding them, but a good veterinarian is absolutely sublime! Dr Lexi and everyone at The Animal Hospital have become like an extension of family over the years. From the excitement of a first visit with a new puppy to the sadness of “that day” when we come to collect a small box, we’ve gone through it all with our family at The Animal Hospital. Every step in the lives of our beloved pets, we’ve walked alongside first, Dr Ed and now, Dr Lexi and her superb staff, and the level of care extended to us has always been the best of the best. The kindness and compassion that has come with that care has been the icing on the cake, for it’s not just our pets that are occasionally in need, it’s also our human hearts and souls that need soothing when we walk through the door. To all - front office, techs, vets - we thank you for sharing our concerns and worries and also our joys… and our tears. Mechanics and contractors may come and go, but we will never search for another vet! When you find it, you just know…

Our dog, Max (and a few years ago our dog Jack) is a patient at The Animal Hospital. The entire staff are terrific! Every time I call with a concern or just a need to make an appointment, the clerical staff is professional and friendly. The techs and doctors are terrific, too. We re-located to this area of NY seven years ago and are so glad a new neighbor had recommended The Animal Hospital.

I brought my two cats in for lily poisoning and they immediately took my girls in and got them the treatments that they needed and saved their lives. I am so grateful for the staff and doctors at The Animal Hospital who took such amazing care of my cats.

I brought my cat there yesterday. He was doing fine until they brought him into the back. Next thing I know, he's dead. If I were you, I wouldn't go there. ? If I could rate a negative number of stars, I would.

I can't say enough about how great the vets, techs, and all support staff are here! They have helped so much during urgent situations with our dogs. One dog with a chronic condition has received frequent top notch care. The staff members are very patient in communicating with the crazy dog parents too! I highly recommend this group!

I don't know how I haven't yet written a review about this place! They are *amazing*. My guinea pig, meatloaf, has had bumblefoot/recent health issues because he's a rescue that was abandoned in the park. They've taken amazing care of him and my three other guinea pigs, and they've always answered promptly and taken me in last minute when I need help. Super kind, and they even named me client of the month! Seriously, I am so grateful for finding them and I'm not at all surprised they have such a long client list- they deserve it.

Update: Since my prior review, the practice manager reached out to me. After a short discussion about my experience I was able to get an appointment in a week.I truly prefer to bring my pets here and I'm very glad I was able to resolve my concern for my pup's wellbeing. She enjoys her visits there.This place is very welcoming. All the vets I've met are great. Nice secluded spot. My pup loves to go here! I feel very assured she's receiving quality care here.

Dr. Lexi has been our cats’ veterinarian for 13 years. Dr. Lexi is a gifted vet with expertise and compassion who always takes her time to discuss her observations and methodological treatment options. She answers questions with patience and thoroughness. Once when we brought our cat in for scheduled surgery, Dr. Lexi intuited that something was wrong and that he should not have the operation that day. Instead he was tested further via ultrasound which indicated the need for a biopsy. He then underwent one surgery to cure the original issue and to have the biopsy instead of experiencing the trauma of TWO invasive surgeries/recuperations. This also allowed cancer treatment to begin at a very early stage.- Every vet technician has been caring and accommodating. In particular, Maureen has provided compassionate support and knowledgeably answered our questions for the past 13 years.- The office staff is friendly and helpful, the office is clean, and appointments are timely. We highly recommend this very caring practice!

These ‘people’ are nasty, mean, and disorganized. We’ve called a few times trying to get an appointment for our newly adopted dog, who has already been seen here repeatedly having been brought in by her lovely foster family previously. We were told that we would receive a call for an appointment and never did, this morning we were treated horrifically on the phone. They claimed to have no record of us calling for the appointment or of the rescue agency trying to set it up, and were incredibly Rude and insulting. Do not bring your loved ones here.

Absolutely excellent vet hospital. They always work hard to get my animal in for random issues but never seen overbooked when we have an appt. I've always been impressed from reception to vet technicians to practicing Dr's, they always remember my animal and treat him like their own
