Living here is wonderful! Christa the property mgr. is fantastic and Kendall is so sweet and nice. I could not recommend renting here more, they are by far the very best people I have EVER dealt with anywhere in the country when it comes to renting!

In response to the earlier review of Debbie hart ! I have had no such experience like Lisa. Debbie has been wonderful from the beginning, extremely helpful and pleasant to work with . I highly recommend these apartments. They are very well managed .

Debbie Hart is the worst property manager ever. I moved in when Kayla Cerutti was manager and she was fantastic. Debbie treats the people who rent that are her customers like they are beneath her.She has no communication skills, wastes paper with memos left and right. The apartment itself was ok nice community of peopleThe property manager creates a hostile environmentThey need to clean house

If you ever live here expect them to enter your apartment with notice or cause.

I currently live at Meadowbrook Apartments for about a year now, the apartments are okay, nothing special for $1350/month and the only thing included is heat, NOT water. The hallways and basement look like a college dorm. Walls are filthy, have holes, and carpets are very stained. If I could upload pics I would. Unfortunately I was promised this would be addressed after my neighbors were evicted months ago and nothing has been done. Kayla, the assistant manager is great, but unfortunately she does not determine what gets done. I have actually cleaned the sink in the basement myself because it was just absolutely disgusting. Also not sure why if you renew your lease, rent will be raised 3.5%-6.5% when no renovations are being done and they are not even maintaining the common areas in the hallways. Would I recommend Meadowbrook? Probably not, for the price it is to live here.

I have lived at Meadowbrook apartments for a little over 2 years now. For the price you pay a month, this is a no-frills apartment complex that shows its age with cracks in walls & with little amenities. When they say laundry room in each building, its one machine in the basement shared by everyone in the building and it is never cleaned, I choose to go to a local laundry mat rather then use them. The halls and basement areas look like they belong in a low end collage dorm (lights always out, walls marked up, carpet stained). The "security entry system" does not work. The main door into the building doesn't lock, all you need to do is pull the door open, so anyone can enter the building at any time of day or night. It took me 3 months of complaining to get my heat/AC fixed. The only positive thing I can say about the place is there dog policy and Kayla (who is always very nice). Would I recommend this place to live, for the price you pay, no. There are far better places for the amount of money.

I've lived here for 5 years. It was ideal until ownership changed about a year ago. Current staff is great, however pets are now allowed, which when you don't have any is unfortunate and yes, you do hear them and there is dog poo outside. However, that being said, the staff is great, attentive, responsive and have addressed any issues I've had quickly. They advertise 'free heat and hot water' - you will pay for water monthly , trash removal monthly and a monthly admin billing fee, though heat is actually included. Parking is available, but definitely tight.

Thank God for Kayla and Vinnie. They're professional and not only listens to your concerns but act on them. They work hard at making Meadowbrook once again a premier area to live in.

My wife and I have lived here a little over a year and a half. We have been through several property managers and maintenance supervisors. Now we have Kayla and Vinnie who are a joy to deal with. I myself work with the traveling public every day and understand about customer service. These two are doing the best job they are allowed to do. If you asked me to recommend this place 6 months ago , I would tell them to look elsewhere. Now I would say , yes look at this place. I hope Kayla and Vinnie are still here when our lease is up. This could be a deal breaker whether we stay or go.

I have lived at Meadowbrook for a little over a month now and I absolutely love it. Kayla the assistant property manager is great and so nice. Always follows up with inquiries. Vinnie is always available if you have any concerns with maintenance and he is experienced, clean, and quick to address concerns. They work hard to get the place to the best that it can be. The apartment itsself is remodeled and was immaculately clean when I moved in. The neighbors are friendly and I love walking my dog around. Its safe clean and quiet. I believe this is going to be a great experience and I am so happy I chose this place.

They’ll come into your apartment whenever they feel like it. Even if you’re on the toilet. They have the worst assistant property manager ever. I personally would never rent from them again due the negative experience I’ve had with the assistant property manager Kayla and the maintenance super Vinnie. Kayla is unprofessional being that she brings her girlfriend along on business matters. I felt attacked when I was in the moving out process. There is also thrash everywhere.

If i could give 0 stars i would... horrible. The management company is cut throat... trying to make individual apartments to pay for their water and gas... but there are no individual meters on each unit only for the building as a whole... also got rid of unit maintenance that falls on you all while they are charging you over 1k a month for a one bedroom. And good luck getting ahold of anyone at the office. You can call them everyday and the person you need is never in and its a miracle if they call you back. So glad i didnt renew my lease with them... oh and in your new lease if you sign it you are agreeing to wave your rights to take them to court for anything ! Just go up the road to Bethlehem Terrance

I gave this place one star because the people I met while helping my sister move Kayla, Vinny, and Kayla’s wife were harassing my sister and I. I am only 16 years old and Kayla’s wife threatened to throw my sister off the truck and Kayla tried to fight my sister she threw her keys on the floor and even caught on camera when she tried to punch my sister and her wife they all three were preventing me and my sisters gf from leaving they complex so my sister could get the truck to remove the couches that we put there bec we didn’t know they couldn’t be there after vinny chased us down and yelled that he was gonna charge us. I don’t understand because all we were trying to do is leave peacefully and Kayla, vinny, and Kayla’s wife were all surrounding us and attacking us always within 5 feet of my sister. It was disturbing and made me feel fear for my sisters safety. I have videos and will gladly send them to upper management.

I used to live here for about three years, before used to be my friend and he took the money that he deposited and he left, so I had the contract under my name. When my contract ended I went to the rent office and I met the Lady and told her I am not renew the contract but my friend was interested to get the new contract with them. I told her I am moving to Florida . So at this time she was supposed to give me the money down that I put down and to get the new deposite from my friend, but no she didn’t give it to me. She putted my name on a contract with my friend who was going to get the apartment under his name, and I didn’t know this. After some month my friend left he didn’t end the contract and I received a phone call from the rent office that I owned them money because my friend left before the contract ends. So I paid two more months in advance plus they kept my deposite plus some more money because the Apartments wasn’t clean. I spend a lot of money so I don’t recommend this apartment till I get my deposite back.

Don't believe the negative reviews. Meadowbrook is a great place to live! The apartments are remodeled and clean. Kayla, Vinny, and Desmond are top-notch and are always making sure that everything is in working order. No matter what time of day, they are always available, if needed. Most Many residents have lived here for a long time and I plan on doing the same. Reasonable rent, heat/hot water included, great peaceful location- and they allow dogs! It's a hidden gem in Slingerlands.
