Never had a bad experience here, visit several times a week. Atmosphere is nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly, and accommodating. Food is fresh, and plentiful. Typically will have left overs for the next day.

i don’t usually write reviews but oh my god. this is the best deli in the tri state area. everytime i go in im greeted with nothing but smiles from the two blonde ladies that work there. my subs are so big i can’t finish them in one day. keep up the good work guys!!!

I would love to get in contact with the owner because if he was present more often I know he would not tolerate his staff being so incredibly rude. More than one on many occasions.

I ordered two sandwiches. One ham and cheese sub and one Italian combo on a roll. The sub didn't have any cheese. The combo didn't have any cheese or salami. The girl who took my order was very rude. She acted as if I was bothering her. I called after getting home to tell her about the problem. She pretty much called me a lier saying I didn't ask for cheese. We are done spending money in this place. I miss the other owners

I recently went here to pick up lunch and a few things, as I have always enjoyed the food and found it of good quality. But today I went and the parking lot near the entrance was wet/muddy and I stepped over a puddle and bam slipping in the mud, hit my knee on ground, twisted my ankle and hit my head on the curb. I stayed where I fell to get my bearings and make sure I was ok. I nice lady in the parking lot came over and asked if I was ok, I said I think so. I then proceeded into the deli/market and explained what happened to one of the workers there, who asked me if I would like to speak to a manager. I replied yes, because of the dangerous situation in there parking lot and I was lucky I wasn't seriously hurt. I spoke with a young man who stated he was the manager and explained what happened and he looked at my like deer in the headlights. I explained that they should do something about this as if someone were to be seriously hurt they would liable - his comment was I know and that is how far this went, not one person apologized or offered me a discount on my food - not an ounce of concern for my well being. I will not be going back here and will not recommend this place.

They literally put 4 slices of ham, 4 slices of salami total on a sub that cost over $13.00!! Don't bother getting a sandwich from here!!

Good food and very clean. The staff is slow and a little disorganized with filling orders though. Don't go there if you're in a rush.

The one slice of cheese is thicker than all the meat combined on the Italian combo sandwich and this cost $10. For $10 I expect there to at least be more meat on a sandwich. This also isn’t the first time with this little amount of meat on the sandwiches.

Just stopped in on my way home, used to come here all the time in high school but this morning you guys made me one of the best egg and cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life!

Not very hygienic. The girl making sandwiches touches her visor, her hair and eats the meat she's slicing all while she's making a sandwich. Worst of all she doesn't even wear gloves! Eeeew. Raise your standards and I might go back.

I’ve been going to this Deli for 20 years but, the last time I went in I got the most sorry excuse for an Italian combo I’ve ever seen. I honestly think that someone must have bought the deli from the original owners and changed everything that was awesome about this place. The friendly staff is all gone also. Sad day for Slate Hill

They have customers that they like and everyone else doesn't matter. You are ignored or they are rude. If you order a breakfast sandwich don't be specific (salt and pepper) because you won't get it. I have asked on several occasions.
