We purchased a mower from these guys a few years ago, wanting to support our local businesses and had an issue with the mower after using it a few times this season. Asked them to come pick it up and fix it. My husband is pretty handy, so he tried some things prior to contacting them. They came right away, said they wouldn't be able to look at it for a week; two weeks went by, we called, and they said oh, our guy is out sick. Week 3 comes and goes, my husband calls and says he is coming to pick it up, please have it out so he can trailer it. He gets there, and they say its going to be a few minutes, he says, look I called and asked you to have it where I can get it, they again say okay, it will be a couple minutes. Fifteen minutes go by and so my husband goes back to see what is going on and they are all trying to get it started and try to make it look like they "worked" on it. My husband says, no, let me take it, you had your chance. Of course, we heard stories from 3 other families about how they did some pretty sketchy things, AFTER we had already had them pick up the mower. So sad, trying to do the right thing and stay local and treated so poorly. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!

I would not recommend. Poor communication and customer service. Called to see if Finger Lakes Power would service a unit. The employee I spoke to on the phone stated they would and I was advised to bring it in. The employee working the front desk was less than friendly, complained about having to keep coming to the service counter. He also let the phone ring continuously while checking in my equipment. Six weeks went by and never heard from them. Called to get an update on a Wednesday. The woman I spoke to said it hasn’t been looked at yet, but estimated the end of that week or early the following week. Two and half weeks went by before I called again to check on the status. The employee reported that it was still listed as “waiting for service”. Overall I waited two months, no proper estimation on completion of service. I ultimately ended up picking up the equipment without any diagnosis or work done. Also it appears customer equipment stored outdoors in an unsecured area.
All in all not impressed with Finger Lakes Power.

I took my lawn mower there. They had it for two and half weeks to tell me they couldn't get it to start. I needed a new pull cord, and they never took the old pull cord off. Would never recommend. Cost me $30.

This company has been servicing my snowblower and my mower for quite a few years now. Pricing has been fair, and service has been top-notch. Even with labor shortages post pandemic, their service turnaround time was good.

Scheduling my appointment was fast and easy. When I arrived there was no waiting - they immediately began looking at my car. My whole appointment was very fast. Everyone was nice. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone else.

Love it! My muffler fell down and they fixed it right away. We've also taken our lawn mower there. I'll definitely be going back!!

This place does the shadest work I’ve ever seen then try blaming anyone but themselves wish I never bought my tractor there and definitely regret have repairs done stay away from them and the LS TRACTOR BRAND they both are unreliable very disappointing poor communication had my tractor for longer than I have had in my possession it’s crazy might get lawyer involved if I don’t have my tractor back by this Tuesday cuz was told I’d have it today and I don’t and they haven’t answered my phone calls all day and haven’t made one single call to me about anything and two weeks in a row said they would drop it off on Thursday or Friday and both weeks they didn’t call or show so went there yesterday and they said I’m lying that I did t call and someone didn’t say that well I have a witness and recorded the call so let’s see what a judge says about all of it cuz I have my ____ covered so I’ll be getting a new tractor sorry about how long this is but if you wanted her version stay away from this place

They charged us close to $50 just to look at a chainsaw and weed Wacker and then said they both had to be completely rebuilt for $250.
