“Great place to stop if you're in need of wine or liquor in Skaneateles. The workers are knowledgeable, friendly and always offer to help. It's smaller but has a pretty good selection, they have lots of local wines and ciders.”

“There isn’t a better wine shop in the region. Rob and his team are genuine. They know their stuff and can always direct you to cool new wines. I drive 30 minutes each way to get to the shop and still would make the drive if it was twice that distance. The north end of the Finger Lakes and the Syracuse area are lucky to have a resource like the Underground Bottle Shop.”

“There is such a wide selection of product, and they offer tastings on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays so you can try different things and find a new favorite! Reasonable prices. Sara is so friendly and personable, she makes you feel like a long time friend when you walk in the store!”

“Really solid place for buying hard stuff. Reasonably clean, spacious, well lit, friendly staff, good selection -- these are things one should appreciate in a liquor shop. The online ordering / in-store pickup process was a breeze.”

“I love stopping up here every time I'm visiting family to pick up local craft beers from NY and the bordering states. Everything is always recently canned and there are some larger name craft brewery beers here, but not the usual suspects. I'm talking about releases that only locals can get. There's always a real nice young man working at the register. As far as ambiance is concerned, it's a truck stop/gas station. You wouldn't know what you're walking into if you didn't know that this place sold terrific beer, and to be honest, that's kind of the charm of it. All in all, I'll be back every time I'm up here to stock up. Great local spot!”

“This is a nice neighborhood store with a very friendly and helpful owner. I am happy to have them close by. The store is neat and clean and the service is great.”

“For such a small liquor store they have a lot of choices and manage to fill a lot of inventory in such a small space. This is always my first stop, before I try other liquor stores. Typically, they have what I'm looking for, especially in the mid rang to lower high end liquors and wines. Their selection is only limited by space constraints.I'll admit, that I've had to go elsewhere for special/specific bottles...but for the most part (95% of the time) they always have what I want.Pretty good for a small village liquor store. Like I said, always my first choice. No issues with Customer service.Prices ..... Let's say, I could save a dollar or two elsewhere on something's, but my time and gas more than covers the occasional time when this happens.Overall, I am very pleased and content. Give them a”

“Jake's may be small but don't be fooled he has a good selection and great prices. Mike, the owner always has a display of 5.99 wines or two for $9.99 or a case for $49.99 pretty good deal and pretty good wines”

“They have a decent selection of most wines and spirits so that you can always find something to fill your needs. Friendly staff and well maintained. It's always a nice shopping experience.”

“This is one of the smallest liquor stores I've ever seen but you can't be too picky when you're the only liquor store in town surrounded by dry towns all the way to Auburn, NY. Besides that, they have a pretty diverse selection and I'm sure you can find something to your liking for the going rate. The best part of the store was the cashier who was both witty and friendly. Bottom line...this is the go to place because you have no other options.”
