Finger Lakes Lodging is a welcoming and accommodating place, ideal for both short and long stays. Guests appreciate the impeccable housekeeping, lovely sheets, and towels, as well as the comfortable common room featuring a fireplace, refrigerators, and a coffee machine. The lodge is conveniently located less than a five-minute drive from Skaneateles village and directly across from Rosalie's, a highly praised Italian restaurant known for its excellent food, service, and atmosphere. While the rooms have a charming rustic appeal and modern lodge feel, some guests find them small for extended stays. The bathrooms are spacious and equipped with Mirbeau products, but some issues have been noted, such as the need for a dehumidifier to combat mustiness and slow water heating. Although the rooms are clean and well-decorated, outdoor cleanliness could be improved, as guests have reported litter left by previous visitors. Overall, Finger Lakes Lodging offers a cozy and pleasant experience, with friendly staff available for late check-ins, making it a reasonable choice for travelers exploring the area.
We ended up staying there for almost two weeks. They are the kindest and most accommodating people anywhere. The housekeeping is impeccable and the sheets and towels lovely. The Common Room is great with the fireplace, refrigerators, coffee machine and lovely people to chat with.
