“I swear, whenever I go to any thrift store, Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" always comes to mind. About a 10 minute drive from Woodstock, is Memorabilia on Route 28 in Shokan filled with a mixture of antiques, vintage and small tchotchkes. Arguably the best little place to scour unusual and not-so-unusual items. This weekend-only (Sat & Sun.) isn't the place where you'll find racks upon racks of couture clothing- but, you may just walk past a spot and find something that catches your eye. In any case, when you find it, take the time to really check the condition and ask the owner, Katherine questions on its history. Prices are almost dirt-cheap- but do bring cash and not your card.”

“Absolutely beautiful selection of rugs. You can sense the good quality the minute you enter the shop. The owner is kind enough to let you take any rugs home to try it out. Definitely coming back !”

“This shop is a rare find in the area. Mid century focus, a nice assortment of functional objects, furniture and decor, all fairly priced. The owner is very knowledgeable about his inventory, and he is helpful with keeping an eye open for things you may be seeking. Funky lampshades, rugs, Dansk enamelware, cutlery...it's worth visiting regularly because objects come and go. Don't miss out!”

“We come to the Hudson Valley twice a year from Los Angeles and Clubhouse is a favorite definite destination. I'm pretty particular in vintage acquiring at this point cause we've been around (!) but I always find great things for us and stock up on presents for back home. You'd think there's plenty opportunities for vintage where we live in CA but this place is unique- he's got a really interesting range of things and reasonably priced. It's a charming store, really mellow and somehow very fresh for so much old authentic stuff!”

“Awesome store, great selection, customer service is A+. I recently bought a painting from here which I love but couldn't recall the painter's name. I emailed the store and they replied within a day. Truly great, definitely shop here if you're in town.”

“I found this antique in quite a small (and very cute) town. I was blown away at all the wonderful things I found in there. Everywhere you went, there was something new and interesting to see. I bought myself a bottle opener!”

“Found some old pressed steel toys, wish I had been there earlier to find more. Vendors had a good variety, I went on a Monday, wish I could have made it on a a weekend.”

“I love shopping at the Blue Barn. It's like going through someone's attic, but better. I've had only good experiences with salespeople, including the owner Faye. It's always fun to go there, for the people and and stuff! Over the years I've bought, jewelry, art, furniture, clocks, Knick-knacks. What I love is, because there are multiple vendors, there is a range of styles and prices.”

“A gem of a upscale thrift store. Brought my two young nieces and we left with an entire bag of clothes for the equivalent of what I would have paid for maybe 2-3 items at a retail store. A perfect stop for a fun afternoon! The staff were very friendly!”

“This is one of my favorite places to shop in the area! They have a great range of clothes, accessories, houseware, novelty items, and more. There is good size inclusivity and the owner is always happy to make great recommendations. I have been going here for ten years and each time I see something I have never seen before. Don’t miss this place!!!”
