My hero was horrible. It was soaked in Italian dressing, and they forgot the sweet peppers that were supposed to be on it. I will never order a hero again from a place that looks like a convenience store.

the service is horrible, everytime you go in here you wait a good amount of time for your food, today I ordered one cold turkey sandwhich and it was about 15 minutes before I finally asked where my food was, and the lady cashier is very rude, the food isn't good enough for the service to be that bad. One of the worst delis I've ever been to and I'm a foodie

Amazing food and amazing service! We came from out of town and said we had to try before we left. Wish we would have tried it sooner! Can't wait to come again.

Got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Was $5.41 comes with a choice of apple juice or orange juice. Prices have gone up. Can't blame them. Spent all morning trying to find a place that didn't charge $6 for a BEC on a roll. Inflation and the cost of food & rent has definatly driven prices up. I remember when I was younger I use to be able to get a BEC on a roll for $3. Anyways, the sandwich was good, got it with salt, pepper, ketchup. No complaints. Store was clean, and staff was friendly. Solid place for a convenient store or a place for breakfast or lunch. They have lots of snacks & candy. They even have things like shampoo, body wash and other items you might forget while traveling. They also have lotto there.

Ordered a bacon egg cheese salt pepper ketchup- they made the eggs completely wrong opened up the wrapper it was in and it fell apart and looked like slop. The same with the hungry man. Also was waiting in line for 10 minutes and lady tried to take the person behind me first

Not much to look at, just an old "corner store" with a deli in the back, but the food is well worth the stop. I had the "2 Eggs on a roll" with Bacon and Cheese for breakfast then went back for the "Italian Hero" for lunch. Both were amazing.

It's not often I go here although I live very close, but when I do stop by for a bacon egg and cheese they're always perfect! Bacon is cooked great, as well as the eggs. I have not had much from here hence the amount of stars I gave this deli. Colin's Deli is still my go to place for egg sandwiches though, and as far as I know will be the only place I go for egg sandwiches. It's good for just stopping in and grabbing a drink on the go or a sandwich. After reading these reviews, I will definitely try a sandwich for lunch. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. As for the appearance, it's in an old, small, kind of out of the way building, but no complaints. It is just like any other small deli except the food is way better than others!!

I never knew this place existed. It's really out of the way behind a 7/11. But because of Yelp, "Colin Delicatessen & Grocery" came out of hiding. Parking is pretty good by the deli, so there is not wait time to get in. Inside the store, the first thing you notice is all the clutter and boxes everywhere. You also see the building is old. But with those two negatives ever so prominent, there was still a crowd at the counter, waiting for hero's. I decided not to rush to excitement or jumped to conclusions like I've done so many times before. They have a list of a lot of custom hero's and wraps. I looked it over and H1 stood out to me! The guy at the counter wasn't much for small talk, but he did say one thing that stood out. I told him I lived in Shirley for five years and never saw this place. He with confidence said "the sandwiches are good!" I thought to myself "wow!" This guy is peaking my interest now! I can't wait to get home and try this hero. Obviously eating their is out of the question, there are no tables. I paid, a good price, got my food and left. The drive Home was torture because that delicious smell of the food filled my car. I almost pulled over to take a bite, but I stayed strong. When I got home I waisted no time. I pulled it out and took my first bite. Well, I can tell you this, that guy spoke little, but said a lot! This hero was delicious! Ignoring the fact he forgot my red onions, this was one of the best hero's I have had in awhile. I already made plans for my next visit! I definitely need to try a burger. I know now to ask the man who speaks little, but says a lot about his opinion of food as well as life.
