Wow . I walked in at 1:25 standing in line to get a prescription and they tell me sorry we are closed from lunch after standing there for 5minutes. Help the customers in line then take the lunch .. very unprofessional and rude!

Cindy is always there to greet you as you enter the store. Thank you. Cindy is knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I had a problem with one of my coupons not being excepted and Cindy was able to resolve the issue. Cindy is truly an asset to the Shirley CVS store.

I never write reviews but dealing with pharmacy tech, Tyler, put such a bad taste in my mouth on an otherwise beautiful Monday morning I just had to say something.Tyler really has no patience and has an attitude with patients and other medical staff in which they should otherwise be allies. After waiting 10 minutes on hold, which every CVS is known for, to correct a prescription for a patient with insurance issues. Tyler did not give any greeting to prompt me to speak and hung up the phone.I called back, waited another 10 minutes, and asked him if he hung up on me. He stated, “Angry on a Monday morning, huh?” I explained why I was frustrated and replied, “ I was actually having a great day but after waiting 20 minutes just to be hung up on and then get an attitude it kind of gets annoying.”We went back and forth for a moment and then Tyler got very annoyed and short when I asked him questions about what insurance would cover and what I should send for the patient to best help the patient’s situation. As a patient I stopped going to CVS because of treatment like this but as medical staff I would encourage others to stop using CVS as well. They are all over worked and stressed out and it shows at the same time we are ALL going through it. Would it hurt for him to be kinder, maybe say “hello” twice on the phone before hanging up? Not sure how to fix him but I understand why the rating is so poor. If all the staff is as rude as Tyler I wouldn’t use them either.

So I was prescribed a medication back on 8/11 they told me they would have to order it and it would be available for Monday 08/14, called My doctor who sent another script to them for antibiotics same day. I kept hearing automated system message "we are currently processing your prescription, you will receive notification once ready for pick up" called today and attitude guy picks up saying i have no scripts, I questioned him about them he tells me they do not fill the specific script and they tried contacting my doctor no response" question: why was I the customer not informed 08/23 and no medication. Thank God it's not a life a death situation. Never using them again stay away from CVS. Horrible customer service!

If my insurance wasn’t strict on getting my prescriptions sent to CVS, I’d be elsewhere so fast!! I went in to pick up my medication and had a question about my new insurance card, and I was sent to consultation. I get there and it was literally a question the tech at the counter could have answered instead of sending me to another window. Instead of ringing me up there (which has happened in the past) or giving my prescription back to the cashier, she asked me to go back on the long line. I literally laughed!! I was waiting 20 minutes on that line to wait another 20. Incredible service I’ll tell you that!!

Called today with some questions and the woman pharmacist who answered the phone was absolutely no help. Every question I asked she tried to just push off to someone else. Then I proceeded to tell her it sounded like she was rushing me off the phone because when you call the automated line it gives you misinformation. She told me well you need to call this I can’t help you with that. The. I asked her what insurances do you guys take for my issue and she was like I don’t know you would need to call about each individual one. Which I gladly would have liked to go over but because I seemed like I was bother her I said thank you and hung up even though it is her job to take care of the customer. Her name was Natasha straight up rude.

I go to this location if I’m in the area and it’s alway not welcoming. Workers just hang around. The best CVS. I go to always is in wading River. They are helpful, polite, out going and so quick to always have conversations. Everyone knows me for years just because I go there a lot. They just get more happier and I love taking to all of them. 10 Stars for that store.

I Shop at CVS alot. I am not a well person and I am on medication for vertigo. While I was shopping I had an Urgency to use the restroom. I asked the Lady at the front counter where the bathroom was and explained the Urgency. I was told they are not allowing customers to use the restroom due to Covid and they are doing vaccinations back there. I walked to the back and asked the pharmacy and explained the Urgency and I was told the bathroom is out of order. I had to walk outside with my cane to a store next door to use the restroom. I have horrible vertigo, so it's extremely hard for me to walk anywhere without falling. I am completely shocked and appauled by what happened.

This is an extremely busy pharmacy. The area it is in is highly populated and isn't the nicest place to live, yet, the folks in this store work real hard at providing a service to the residents of the Three village area. It's the customers who need to chill and have respect for what they do.I have been a consumer in this location for over 20 years. I have never had a problem with any of the service provided whether it is in the Phamacy or the store area. Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work.

Worst pharmacy ever. Extremely poor management and service. They have no shame and no consideration for someone who cannot survive without certain medications. I cannot express how upset I am. I have never lost my patience like this before. They had me run back and forth for 3 days giving me wrong information regarding when my meds will be available.

Absolute worst pharmacy ever. The line is always backed up. Inside or on the drive-thru. The workers are rude. I came in early on 08/21/2022 and a blonde-haired lady was rude to me when I asked her what time the pharmacy opened. She said "Look at the sign. It says the hours right there." I proceeded to tell her that her attitude was unnecessary. Mind you the pharmacy was about to open in 5 min. The sign wasn't even in a visible place for customers to see. After that I went outside to get on the drive through and the drive through didn't open even though it was 9am. I waited several minutes and came in and they decided to open the drive through. I know they did that out of spite. Do not come here. They are nasty and vile. Tyrell is nice, but everyone else acts like they don't want to be there and could care less about helping you.

This is for the CVS 964 Montauk Hwy, Shirley, NY 11967 WORST than other CVS around. I'm going to be detailed in each here because this was experience for not just myself BUT a parent over 70 y/o & needed to get this new med for one coming out hospital. I point this out because what isn't big deal for younger folks IT CERTAINLY IS for older folks ESPECIALLY #4#1 there's 2 entrances & it changes for Idk what reason BUT it is really annoying for customers. Maybe young folk not big deal but others you can pull in & park thinking first entrance go in but sign on door is small/can't tell until you are in front of it that it says 'use other door" PUT a bigger sign or better one of the display stands with sign outside so your customers CAN SEE IT WHEN PULLING IN. So older folk who aren't in best shape walking, seeing signs etc this is issue.#2 Pharmacy line is huge-wrap around line & down the aisle (was mid afternoon Sunday) . Originally 2 folks helping/ringing then one no reason to not wait to help get line down first.#3 then..there's a lot older folks picking up scripts & usually ones helping/ringing are helpful to prompt customer "slide card, hit button X, if want receipt hit Yes...NOT this girl that older guy didn't know what hitting which ended up hitting buttons to finish, not knowing what needed hit as it seemed to get "stuck" he thought using finger wasn't working so trying stylus. It froze, I went help hit Yes for receipt it had already taken a "no"/so had no receipt from paid transaction. Had to ask her which she said "you must have hit no & no way to get you one now" I find that hard to believe but could have been avoided IF she helped prompt him as many others have. Yes med info/price is on the pamphlet but if you needed paid receipt/how paid etc you are out of luck. You are a retail store..pharmacy & with folk who could have number of issues maybe partly blind, dementia, etc etc SO BEING BIT MORE HELPFUL WOULD BE APPRECIATED & you would move your line of customers along faster too!PLEASE READ MOST IMPORTANT***#4 After all said done, bring med to individual who is in hospital. Thankfully we did this as when ordering Dr saw it IT WAS NOT FILLED PER HIS INSTRUCTIONS! That's pharmacist error. There's HUGE difference take pill 2x day vs instructions to follow taking x dosage on x days then on day x take different amount. DR SAID IT WOULD HAVE KILLED HER ?? Dr will handle this with them. I will never go to this pharmacy location again nor have them! ***
