Absolute worst bank in the entire world. Switching to Chase had it with capital one. Was buying a house today waited outside the door for 25 minutes after they said they were going open and never showed up !DO NOT BANK HERE HORRIBLE

Twice in a matter of one month, the teller (drive-up window) made a mistake in favor of the bank by either $100+ or $200+. They gave a lame excuse that the checks/money orders cannot be read properly. All of a sudden? Meanwhile, one of the money orders I deposited was typed by another bank, nothing handwritten ... so, we know this is NOT the case. The manager gave this lame excuse as well, but don't fall for it. They need employees who are competent and are able to up the amounts correctly in order not to waste a customer's time and short change them when deposits are being made. Will take my business elsewhere.

They closed my savings account containing money during the pandemic with no reason why, they just sent me a check. Horrible and the atm drive thru is always empty

Worst bank ever. It's ironic that their tagline is "banking reimagined". They have reimagined it as a place that offers zero services and wants everyone to do everything online. They won't even talk to you about credit cards, and there is no one available to help open an account. You are directed to go online for everything. The services they offer as a brick-and-mortar bank could be provided out of a kiosk the size of a lemonade stand. I pulled all my money out of this Bank and set up accounts at TD, where I received the personalized service I expect from a financial institution.

This review has to do with capital one as a bank. (I did stop in this bank location today for help and the teller did her best to assist me). Back story- i accidentally overdrafted one of my accounts by paying too big of a check- I have overdraft protection and my other accounts had more than enough money to cover. I did not know about the overdraft for several days- I received an email this morning alerting me to it and the fees associated. I transferred money into the overdraft account right away and called to try to have the fees removed. They would only remove two of the fees- they left 7 which equalled $245. I called again and they told me to go down to the branch as they may have the power to get rid of the fees. My closest branch is a half hour from me in shirley (All the local branches near me have closed- sign that the bank is doing badly!!!) The teller at Shirley told me Cap one knew that they no longer sit down for appointments but told me to go there anyway (complete waste of my time and frankly dishonest). I called the branch ahead and nobody answered. So I drove a half hour out of my way with my two young kids in tow. The teller tried her best to help but also got nowhere. She told me to call again and explain. I did- got nowhere again (4th phone call). So I made the decision- I will close all of my accounts with Cap 1 and move to a better bank. This bank has gone waaaaaayyyy down hill over the years- its evident to see in their very few remaining branches. (Compleyely unmaintained with poor associate morale). They would rather lose my 100k that I have with them than refund the $245 that they extorted from me. Again I had overdraft protection- this should have never happened. Trashy bank that probably wont be around much longer- my advise- take your money elsewhere as well- soon as you can!

As way of background, My husband and I have been going through a difficult process with financial issues (for months now) having issues in his home and then he decided to go into forex trading which he needed a monitor who can help and advise him on trade.

Drive thru ATM is good..2 ATM machines and a Teller window. I do hope they will open the inside bank again soon.
