I visited Sherman to see my mother about 6 times in this past year and I shopped there three to four times each visit.This location should be a beta store for associate customer service training. Ty. Good job keep it up!

I remember when my friend started to give birth in this Dollar General, although she did not have the luxuries of pain medicine or professional help the employee at Dollar General was quite helpful! The employee even gave a circumcision for 1 dollar now thats a steal!

UpdateI use to love this DG and their staff but the newest chashier I got today just doesn't care. We came to buy hot wheels cars and bought a bunch. I specifically pulled the 1.25 cars from the racks for my daughter to pick from then put the ones she didn't get back. I checked the tags they said marvel cars 5 and change. I made sure to only pull non marvel cars from the 1.25 racks. When a car that was not marvel and was from 1.25 rack with others just like it rang up over 5 and I mentioned we only pulled 1.25 cars she shrugged asked if we wanted it or not. Didn't want to check, didn't care that it was from a 1.25 rack nothing, could not be bothered. That's false advertising as it was priced at 1.25 when we grabbed it. If I see this cashier again and the other staff isn't there i will be walking out. Atleast go and look at the tag if you don't believe me and it wasn't liscensed ones were more expensive there were many different non marvel liscenced cars for 1.25. She took advantage of a child excited to spend their money on new cars who couldn't stand up for themselves. The least you can do is show us where there is a pile ofnthese cars at the 5 and change price. Do better.Original reviewWhen theres no other stores for 20 miles you really appreciate DG. Great sales and they have most things in a pinch. Would love to see some fresh produce for our food dessert of a town.

Just your basic everyday dollar general store. Always check the clearance isle tho it might just have what you need

I like the place, but the cashier gave 1/2 my purchase to the next customer. I had to chase her down in the lot to get my stuff!

Great service by understaffed workers trying to deal with roofing leaks, lighting issues in a NEW building. Even with all these issues the staff is helpful, always willing to show us where products are and answer questions.
