Our second time staying at Seven and we can say there will be many more! It is a fantastic B&B on the island and a great location to walk to the beach and restaurants close by. The breakfast spread is fantastic and you really are made to feel this is a home away from home when staying!

We need more stars to rate Seven! This place is absolutely lovely - immaculate, beautifully furnished, with amazing breakfasts created by the amazing Shannon, pet-friendly with an enclosed yard! The list could go on and on! We loved it and cannot wait to return!

My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at beautiful Seven on Shelter Island. We took a short ferry ride after visiting local wineries. The property is private and quiet. The grounds are impeccable. Our lovely room was comfortable with an amazing bathroom. We overlooked the pool area. I enjoyed a swim before our evening out. Returning from dinner we found the outdoor fireplace lit as well as candles burning in the welcoming common area. We sat by the fire and enjoyed the amazing evening temperature. The host, Beth, is lovely and made us feel so welcome. Her property is beyond well-attended with many private areas to hang out and relax. Breakfast is set out in a cute kitchen. Again, many places to sit and enjoy coffee/breakfast. I highly recommend this as a place to relax and unwind! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.Rooms: Room was spotless and comfortable. Great shower and our room also had a bathtub.Nearby activities: Beaches, hiking at the preserve. Highly recommend.Walkability: We walked to dinner one of the evenings.Food & drinks: Great breakfast with many options. Food is set out and we helped ourselves.Noteworthy details: Everything, inside and out, is beautifully maintained.

David and I spent a lovely few days at Seven! It was our first time there and we were more then pleased with the accommodations, hospitality, attention to detail, and the stunning pool! It really was very special and unique in many ways. The breakfast was excellent and the artwork interesting and thought provoking. It seemed as if our every need was quietly anticipated and prepared for.We hope to go back in October and would highly recommend this B&B.

Amazing place: quiet, clean, cozy, peaceful. Great staff. We spent our anniversary days there, and we got charmed with that place. We didn't want to leave it, we are gonna come back for sure.

Our visit to Shelter Island was a last minute booking so we didn't expect much from wherever we could find availability. Little did we know that we would stumble upon such a wonderful jewel as Seven on Shelter! Impeccably clean and tidy, our room was very cozy with everything we needed, included a balcony area to enjoy the morning sun. We expected to have to eat breakfast out, since our experience has been that most included breakfasts are lacking but the spread was so wonderful, we enjoyed breakfast in all three days we were there. Beth, Shannon, and Peaches, the resident canine princess, were all wonderful and accommodating. The pool, patio, and the evening fire pit were first class. If you ever have the opportunity to stay here, don't pass it up. You won't regret it for a minute!!

Believe all the great reviews, our July visit was perfect. SEVEN is heaven!!! From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Patrick, a.k.a. The Chef, assisted with our luggage and provided all the information necessary to make our 2 night stay perfect. The property is beautiful, quiet, super clean and cozy. Rooms are modern. Breakfast is a treat, Patrick's croissants yummy. Kitchen is fully equipped with a milk frother and well stocked soft drinks and water for your consumption. Pool area has everything you want, high end towels, floats, umbrellas, super comfortable lounge chairs. Location is great, one block from Sunset Beach. Last night met Beth, owner and understand why her B&B is a hidden gem as she has what it takes to create a 5 ? luxury get away that makes you feel at home. Don't hesitate make your reservation. I look forward to returning.

Extremely well-located B&B, only a few minutes walk from the lovely Crescent Beach. The rooms were spotless, well-equipped (television, fans, toiletries, other amenities) and felt intimate and welcoming. The exterior pool was clean and kept at an inviting temperature. Parking was abundant.Lastly, Beth and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, constantly looking after guests’ well-being.Would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend others do as well.

The place is a slice of Heaven. Beth was wonderful from reservation being made to our leaving. Lovely to talk to and can answer any question you might have about the island. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, private bathrooms are immaculate. Scrumptious breakfast (Chocolate croissant and baguette with goat cheese are amazing) can be taken to the living room, by the pool and decks to enjoy. The walk to the sunset beach is not far and two paths to get there, take both just enjoyable. Quiet and peaceful to just hang by the pool or go exploring.

This place takes the B&B concept to a new level. For a private, luxury experience, HIGHLY recommending this venue. Seven is the perfect little oasis for a team retreat, special event, or romantic getaway. The team is really friendly and accommodating. From the moment you arrive at the property you feel you're on vacation. It's near several activities including the beach and golf range.Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, About the Rooms & Spaces:The rooms are SO lovely. Each room has a single queen or king but the little side sofa converts to a twin bed, which was perfect. Rooms are best for 2-3 people (e.g., a couple, two friends, or parents and one child). Larger parties should book two of the lovely rooms. We had a terrific little veranda space overlooking the property, which was fabulous at sunrise or sunset. The bathrooms look like they were freshly redesigned. VERY luxurious and accessible for older guests as well as younger guests in terms of entering and exiting shower. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art accessories with the bespoke touch of little classical touches like the silver tea set, carafes, etc. to transport you to the "classic Hamptons" of my youth. The shared spaces were chic and multipurpose to allow everyone to find their favorite sitting spot. The pool area was amazing and the focal point of this trip for most of our stay. Quiet and peaceful overall even though we shared the space with two large groups and two couples. Our group came over for a three-day (two night) retreat. We also enjoyed the little library, furnished with leisurely reading about the region, art, healthy lifestyle, etc. and the unique backgammon board, which we took advantage of after a very long active day of exploring!Safety:Everyone in the area is familiar with Seven and vice versa. It's like being welcome to a little professional family, which is a nice change from the busy city. Very calm, safe environment.Miss Peaches (the adorable pet) pops around every morning to take a lap and greet everyone in the morning as the team sets up for breakfast and luxurious lounging around the pool.Distance from B&B to Activities:Roughly 90% of the recommended activities are within walking distance (if you're like me and enjoy walking). Bikes and taxi services are also available for those who don't feel like walking.Great Value:Considering the location and average cost of a classic Hamptons vacation, coupled with the inclusion of amenities like the enormous continental breakfast, bikes, gym, heated pool, the luxurious rooms and shared spaces, etc., Seven offers a really remarkable value. Other Notable Details:Seven is a Greek-owned small business and really embraces the concept of Philotimo. The owner supports the arts, public radio and other philanthropic initiatives, which is also very admirable and adds an extra touch of charm to the little vacation paradise she's created at Seven on Shelter.

Absolutely a perfect stay at Seven on Shelter Island! The location is ideal being just a short walk, bike ride or drive to Crescent Beach. The style of the property, created by the owner Beth, is unmatched by any other property with an impressive attention-to-detail both inside with stunning artwork, a display of beautiful books and games in one of the lounges as well as outside with a wonderful Inviting Heated Pool ( which we dipped into more than once) , Lounge Chairs, Umbrellas , Firepit and Manicured Gardens surrounding the deck. Baskets of Pool/Beach Towels were noticeably available as well as Insect Repellent, if needed, before trekking into a preserve on the Island. Our Guest Room was stylish, stunning, inviting and extremely clean including the bathroom and private deck. The Bathroom included Luxurious toiletries, bathrobes and spa like towels which all were a welcoming addition and nice touch. The King Size bed was so comfortable that my husband enjoyed sleeping in one day while I hopped on the Peloton Bike in the Gym area before Breakfast.WOW is all I can say about The breakfast created by Patrick which had a European elegance that included Croissants, Fruit and Berries, Juice, Yogurt, Cheeses, Organic Eggs and more and was slightly different each day and 100% Delicious!! Each morning, while enjoying our coffee and breakfast on the deck, overlooking the stunning view of the heated pool, the beauty and serenity of Seven shines even if the sun wasn’t.Seven has a beautiful appointed gym area within its own space. Sliding barn doors open to allow for summer breezes and a view of the Heated Pool. The gym area includes a Peloton bike, a Workout Streaming Fitness “Mirror”, Indoor Row Machines and other equipment /amenities for your workouts. The staff at Seven are so personable, accommodating, friendly and exceptional in their respective roles!!Beth, the owner, made us feel like family and we even got a chance to play with “Peaches”, her lovely Weimaraner. Beth is a kind, welcoming and sweet Host. She went above and beyond for us and any other guest(s)! Being our first time to Shelter Island though we grew up on Long Island, we’re grateful we found this true hidden gem on Shelter Island. For a truly new experience, we took her recommendation to attend a rehearsal concert at the Perlman Music School Program, which was just around the block! The gifted talent of the young string players was hugely entertaining and amazing to watch including their respect and rapport with Mr. Perlman. We will definitely stay at Seven over any other property/hotel on Shelter Island!! Looking to be back here in the near future!Rooms: The King Guest Room was Stylish, Stunning and Extreme Clean with exceptional detail including luxurious robes and toiletries. Comfortable Bed and Beautiful Bathroom!Noteworthy details: Friendly, Above and Beyond Accommodating, Gorgeous Heated Pool and Perfect Stay!

I can not say enough good things about our stay at Seven! Beth truly has thought of every detail. The rooms are stylish and cozy, with the comforts of home. Even with quite a few guests staying at the same time as us, it was such a quiet and peaceful place to stay. We woke up to the smell of fresh croissants baking in the kitchen, and the breakfast spread was delicious. I also got to enjoy my breakfast with Peaches, Beth's adorable pup who is so sweet (her company was a big highlight for me as a dog lover!). I can not wait for our next stay to enjoy the beautiful pool and the amazing vibes overall at Seven!
