Our family - including our five-year-old - was driving and felt a flat tire. We stopped at the closest gas station to check and they recommended Southold Auto Repair. Don checked all our tires, fixed the flat, checked the oil, and provided us with new valve caps for a reasonable price. We were back in the road in thirty minutes.Glad we found our preferred mechanic on the North Fork.”
“THE BEST CAR MECHANICS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HONEST, HONEST HONEST! But that's NOT ALL! Highly competent about ALL types of cars foreign and domestic/old and new, VERY competitively priced, and extremely reliable! Rich and John service our newer cars and our older Buick. The Buick has had minor things start to go due to age, and we have gotten a quote to fix these things. In these circumstances, the guys have said "we can do the fix, but in my opinion it's not worth the cost, the car is fine and will keep running great as is". What mechanic in this day and age says that? NO ONE ever in my experience except Rich and John!!!!! In addition, we have had them review cars we are considering buying before purchase, and they have NEVER lead us in the wrong direction. I will NEVER have any car looked or serviced by any other company besides Peconic Automotive and John and Rich!”

“A real bike shop in the middle of the Hamptons. Owner Nick is an upfront man of his word and does great work. The prices are reasonable considering it is the Hamptons. Some of the negative reviews seem to be from people who are not realistic about what it cost to operate in a pricey location. They cannot do their own repairs but are somehow experts on what someone else should do or charge.”
“This review is going to sound like I’m Bobby’s cousin as I wish I could give it 6 stars. It all started on a Sunday when I got two flat tires at the same time. While waiting for AAA I was searching for a local garage that could fix the car as the AAA garages were all too far away. I stumbled upon B&B but the site said closed on Sunday so I left a message hoping to get a call back Monday morning. But what happened was I was called back in 10 min by Bobby who then checked in with me all day on his day off to make sure I was ok. The car was eventually picked up and dropped there and first thing Mon Bobby was on it! Trying to track down two tires on the day when all the dealerships are closed turned into quite an adventure but after I told him I needed to be back in the city to take my elderly father to the dr he went into overdrive, made it his number one priority and got me back on the road that day!I will forever remember the care and competency with which his team took care of me not to mention I also got to meet his cool dog!Service: Tires”
