Rooms are clean. No daily service. No people around for help before 3 pm (check -in time). Has a nice pool. Very limited bar, not sure about food as I've never eaten there. Plenty of hot water, clean towels, no bugs!

A great concept, but poorly executed.
When we arrived, the exterior presentation wasn't inviting. The lights were off, all of the tables and chairs on the patio were askew, and there were several plastic cups strewn about. It would have looked abandoned had it not been for the lovely flower baskets.
When we went inside the pub, the person working behind the bar was totally apathetic. There weren't any other guests having a drink or food, and now I know why. When I said hello to her and explained that we had just arrived and were exploring the grounds, her response was, "okay". We looked around and went back for a drink. My husband asked about the local beers, and she offered him one. Only to tell us, they were out of it. They have an understandably limited menu, but we thought it would be fun to hang out and eat there. Everything we tried to order, they were out of. So, we decided to just have a drink and appetizer and get dinner in town. Nope! They were out of the cheese for the pretzels, too.
Upon going to our room, the inside of the exterior door was filthy. 5 minutes and a magic eraser would have taken care of that. It was apparent that equally as much effort was being put into everything in the place. The room appeared clean at first glance, the bathroom, however, did not. There was a contact lens stuck to the floor and another on the side of the mirror. Ew. Then there was white toothpaste/spit drips down the front of the vanity and some sort of flying insect in the shower. It clearly hadn't been cleaned.
The complementary breakfast in the common area was a complete joke. There was cereal in some plastic containers that looked like they had been there forever, one fruit cup and some milk in the fridge. I didn't take the time to check the date and frankly didn't want to touch anything else. Getting coffee was also a hassle.
I really hope that the owner sees this and makes sure that their business is being run properly. What is presented on the website is unfortunately not what you get. It could be a really cool place.

We booked a 2-night stay for our hiking trip to nearby Kaaterskills Falls. It's a beautiful, quaint hotel tucked away in the mountains, 2.5 hours from NYC. The front desk is at the pub and Caitlyn was very friendly and checked us in. Rooms use a door code rather than a keycard, which is more convenient than a key card. We returned back to the pub for dinner. The food was great and so was the local beer they served. We got to chat with some friendly locals too.
Our room was more spacious than initially thought. There was a large dining table, chairs, a small kitchen with appliances, dishware, and cookware. The balcony was also very nice with a set of chairs facing a beautiful view of the mountains. Beds were clean and very comfortable. We had plenty of towels too.
My only minor complaint is that the rooms are not very sound-insulated. You can hear footsteps and muffled TV noises from neighboring guests. But it is not as bad at it seems (and I am a light sleeper). The nearby river is loud and opening the window gave a nice natural white-noise to drown out noise. We were able to sleep well.
I met the manager Cassandra during breakfast. She was very kind and friendly, gave me some nearby points of interest to check out. She also offered us a late check out since no one else was coming in after us. That was much appreciated since it really helped us out a lot schedule-wise.
I plan on returning here for future Catskills trips. While not the most luxurious hotel, it exceeded my expectations. It is on the nicer side compared to other nearby options. After all, this is the rural mountainside; don't expect Hilton-level places up here. If you're like me and only require basic amenities, this place has more than enough of what you'll need.
Rooms: Large, spacious, clean and comfy beds. Kitchen has a stove, microwave, toaster, utensils, cookware, etc. Bathroom is stocked with towels and body wash. Doors use a keycode assigned at check-in. Balcony has chairs and nice views of the mountain.
Nearby activities: Major hiking trails like Kaaterskill Falls is a short drive away. So are small towns like Tannersville, Phoenicia, and Woodstock which have great shopping and restaurants. There are also some trails behind the resort.
Safety: We felt safe. It does get dark at night so carrying a flashlight helps.
Walkability: You can walk around the resort but there is no paved road/lot, only gravel.
Food & drinks: Small menu, but good food and drinks. Try the local beers.

The service and the quality of the rooms could definitely be better for this money.

We had the best time w our family group of 13: 8 adults and 5 little boys (and our 2 doggies)!! The family run staff was out of this world hospitable, accommodating and lovely. The hotel itself is a 10 min quick ride to the Belleayre ski mountain perfect for the littles to gear up and get out to ski without tuckering out haha! ? the kitchen in the room is clutch for making quick easy meals and the fridge is a decent size upgrade from a mini fridge but the food in the lobby restaurant is really good pub style food wings burgers nachos and sammys. Cocktails are delish local IPAs and such by the fire while the kiddos play board games or video games in the game room. Coffee is fresh and hot in the am and the hot waffles do the trick for a quick bfast. I’d go back for sure as it’s a quick 2.5 from hoboken.

Good:
The location close to Belleayre, spacious rooms, small kitchen, game room, welcoming staff, nice surrounding
Bad:
Room smells of smoke, fixtures are motel-grade, they require to e-sign a separate document and upload the photo of ID before stay.

This place is awful. The pictures shown are not what it really looks like. The little grass they had on the property was overgrown with mostly weeds. This place looked abandoned. When we arrived the windows had no screens and were opened. Apparently the indoor outdoor carpet was replaced and it was glued down because the glue odor was overwhelming. The beds were very old and very uncomfortable. The A/C didn't work and the filter was very dirty. I would NOT recommend this place.

My partner and I were staying at an Air BnB down the road and decided to stop in and grab a couple drinks before heading to dinner. What a hidden gem, we enjoyed the vibes so much we decided to eat here! They have a full bar with a great local beer selection and delicious pub fare (the burgers were insanely good!!) We were able to play a game of pool before our food was served, which contributed to the chill atmosphere. Katie the innkeeper was so kind, she graciously took the time to show us a couple rooms (which all looked clean, spacious, and newly updated) because we want to stay here next time we’re in the area! 10/10 recommend and looking forward to coming back!!

Food & drinks: Had a good meal with the family there. Kiddos played pinball while waiting for food to come and it was yummy. Love the bluestone waterfall feature in the bathroom.

I can’t speak highly enough of the experience my son and I had at the Catskill Seasons Inn. We were truly treated like family, Christina and Caitlyn went above and beyond making sure our needs were met. Which was a huge relief traveling alone with a toddler! Will definitely be making a return

Upon arrival on 9/20 , we promptly checked the mattress for bedbug activity as we always do, and were dismayed to discover that the mattress had multiple brown stains, the telltale sign of bedbugs. We ran out of there and luckily were given a full refund. Do not stay here.Noteworthy details: Staff were helpful

The pub was great, good service and plenty of space with a pool table and arcades. No taps, but local brew in cans.Nearby activities: Plenty of hiking and tourist activities.

Upon checking in I should have known we were in trouble, a current guest was complaining of no heat and a lack of hangers. When we arrived in our room , #24 in the Chalet, it was clean but that was the best thing about it. There was no closet but instead a standalone wardrobe with two sides. The left was for long hanging clothes but there was no bar to hang the clothes on. The right side had a bar and a shelf in the middle which interfered with hanging clothes. We did have 2 hangers provided. The bathroom shower had mold in the grout along the bottom 1/4 of the entire shower. We couldn't find the thermostat for awhile and then checked behind the wardrobe. It was definitely there and hard to read and use. My friends that were in other rooms had similar complaints about the mold in the shower. One said their room came with 5 live bees. This is a place I would definitely not come back to!
