TL;DR They had my address wrong in the system which caused my "bill" to go into collections!!! Today I received a call from a debt collector that I owed 137.79 from over a year ago. When I said I was going to verify with my doctor the man abruptly hung up on me. He was not from Sunrise Medical. I called my doctor to verify the date of the labs which was actually accurate. I then called sunrise medical because I have NEVER received a bill from them -- nothing in my email or snail mail. 1) the amount the debt collector gave me was incorrect. It was higher than the bill amount. 2) Sunrise had my incorrect address (but not the debt collector!!) and so I never received a bill and I guess they never billed my insurance either. All of this could have been cleared up with a phone call LAST YEAR. I appreciate the customer service rep that fixed everything but wow.

We knocked on the door at 12:35.. and were greeted with a very rude "can't you read"... We pointed out that we had in fact waited till it was past 12:30There was no need for the altercation...we would have happily waited if only we had been asked politely.Navigating the medical system is difficult enough and it is best to avoid unnecessary obnoxious and rude interactions.

They tried to balance charge me knowing that I am a medicaid patient, I had my insurance called them and sorted out this issue but today I received a letter from a collection agency, I will fill the proper complaints with the athoryties.

Four (4) of my lab results out of a profile of six (6) were reported with different results. The lab draw which produced these results were taken the same day, and run from the same sample, just sent to different providers. When I questioned. i was told it is only a few points off. i questioned why the same labs were reported with different results and the fact that the results were different was not taken as an issue of concern... very unprofessional, inefficient and inaccurate.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I've been getting hit every week with medical bills from sunrise labs because of tests my doctor is performing. We have insurance so this isn't making sense. Sunrise lab is an underhanded company. They are sending out the bills before they even contact the insurance companies. Called them today to figure out what is going on and they tell me all these bills are paid. They aren't even sending out notices saying insurance has been billed. They are double billing or trying to double bill people. YOU SUCK! And I hope people get wise and someone drags you to court!

The people who work here are extremely incompetent to say the least. I took a COVID-19 PCR test on Saturday August 07, 2021. And these imbeciles lost my information. Mind you they took a copy of my insurance card and driver's license along with my email address which I had to repeat about 25 times because the people I spoke with do not understand English at all. I would stay away from this business. They are usually out on 34th Street in Manhattan by Target. I repeat do not use this lab as they are complely incompetent at what they do. I would give this business a negative 5 stars if i had that option on here.

If I could give one star or even way less I would. This place is an outright scam that. Needs to be reported to the attorney general's office. They take your information, sensitive information like your insurance date of birth and what not and do not provide the service. I had to take a pcr test to travel and they never sent my results. They claimed not to even have my information and eventually stopped picking up the phone. Then they'll charge your insurance company and create issues seeking to collect. Avoid them. Report them. I have.

Lab technician was great! She was very friendly and was spot on when drawing blood.The reason for the low score was due to cleanliness. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting! It looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks...I won’t go into details bc it was that bad. Considering patients need to provide samples, you’d think cleanliness would be a priority.

Customer service representatives are extremely rude. I spoke to two different representatives and they both had this attitude in their voice as if they were tired of working. It made me not want to ever have to contact them again.

This labs billing department makes no sense. I had testing done with them over a year ago - hadn't received one bill from them until a couple weeks ago for $4 or so. Paid it without issue. Then I got a ding on my credit report for an unpaid balance and a letter from collections for a different amount. These people never billed me directly for any outstanding amounts - I came to learn I allegedly had 4 outstanding balances? I took care of it eventually but what a damn scam.

Awful billing department. For two months they have failed to submit my charges to my insurance company, and they keep sending me the same bill in the mail. Unresponsive, do not take calls after 5:30pm, and no email I can contact.
