I went to target in selden. I used my target wallet which is money you build up from purchases to use later. I was killing time between doctor and another shopping experience so I only picked up G Fuels drinks, Monster and 2 Campbell's chicken n stars soups. I took a picture and also you see the thoughtful gift my best friend gave me, myself n Lionel messi on a coffee mug. You can't find someone like her on earth, just saying. Unrelated to this target visit but when I can brag about her, I do.

I went a little after 8am to make a purchase in the electronic section with locked items. There was no one there which i totally expected. I could hear some noise in the back so i went to that door which has clear plastic windows and saw a guy there so i knocked and he looked at me and continued his work which i didn’t think was strange at first because he just got to work. He looked directly at me when I knocked so i felt i’d just let him finish. He finished whatever he was currently doing in my view within a few seconds and then closed a vertical side door on the left then proceeded to walk to the right down some hallway out of sight. So i thought he must not work here. Then I went looking again for someone again and couldn’t find anyone so i went back to the door to wait for the guy. He came back in view for a few seconds looked at me and left again very casually and slow moving. I’m not saying he didn’t have things to do but i don’t understand why he couldn’t say one minute or something? It was like he literally didn’t want to help me. So then i thought he really must not work here because a worker wouldn’t do that. They would at least convey somehow that they will be with me in a few mins with a finger if they can’t come or let me know they can’t help me or something. I also don’t bang on doors, i think it’s rude and i didn’t knock again because i know he saw me. I wasn’t upset I’m like this guy doesn’t even work here leave him alone haha. Now at this point i called target on my cell and asked if they could send someone over and the girl very nicely said she would. So i went back to the electronics and the same guy from the back comes over. Right away i mentioned “i didn’t think you worked here because you looked right at me and walked away”. I said it very nicely though. He didn’t lie and say he didn’t see me which i feel is better than denying it. I grabbed the two items and he offered to ring them up but i really don’t like exchanging with ppl after they act like they don’t want to help me so i told him not to worry i’ll go to the front and ring it. I was nice and cheerful about it but I told him i had to go to work and hurried away from him. My timing was fine I just really don’t feel comfortable exchanging with ppl who don’t like servicing. But it was nice that he offered. His attitude once he actually came to help was totally fine. He seemed like a very relaxed down to earth guy wasn’t defensive or anything like that. But if you chose a career in customer service i do not feel it’s appropriate to ignore ppl because you don’t want to deal with them. Seriously, it’s customer service. I legit wasn’t bothered at first because I’m like that guy doesn’t even work here. Also it’s very close to opening etc. When i was leaving out the front exit the security personnel smiled and said he apologized for the wait. I thought that’s nice to have a system where if there’s a shortcoming it can be acknowledged. However, i didn’t mind the wait which is why i didn’t keep banging I think that’s rude. The guy saw me and showed no acknowledgement and I felt stupid that i actually said let me wait and let him finish what he’s in the middle of so i don’t mess up his flow. I want to say please next time just raise a finger or come to the door and ask for a few minutes time but i’m pretty sure it wasn’t that. I don’t think that he was ever planning on coming so that’s not even the solution. I think that there has to be a greater sense of compassion and respect if you chose to work in this field. I wondered if his coworker was late or if there was short staff and he just had the keys but didn’t usually work that area. He had regular clothes so anything is possible and I didn’t want to be rude and make him feel bad if there was an explanation. But like I said, it wasn’t the wait time at all, it was the lack of acknowledgement and I don’t feel there is any excuse for that.

Absolutely rude store manager turns around and tells me to get lost and never come back all because I wanted to return a product that was defective. Terrible customer service. Reporting this to corporate.

Okay selections of toys but the rest of the store. Is lacking. Smallest target ever, never stocked. Go to Medford or Setauket instead.

Found motorized cart by door, got excited. Got directed to the back, then went left into a circle. Got directed to scented candles, no, needed memorial candle, cart died. There were none, the dead one wasn't even theirs! Nice Mgr asked if he could just go get them for me, was Ok with my rollator to go rest halfway to car. You need more motorized carts, please????

I paged an employee to pull a video game. This incompetent one arrived and wasted 15 minutes of my time. When I paged someone else he turned to me rudely and said it would be just a minute while he was chatting about Apple Watch with someone else. Then he walked away without assisting. Hire better staff please.

I go to this target all the time. I do drive up a lot. The employees are prompt with bringing out my packages. Even when I take a visit inside the lines are never too long. If they are long they call cashiers immediately to help the customers. I would give it 5 stars if the store had more inventory: it seems to be a smaller target.

They have a very nice staff, but I had to check out at the customer service center, where I had to wait about five minutes for service. I later discovered that you need a card to check out by yourself.Would advise that you carry along the card for payment.

FOR CVS LOCATED WITHIN:absolute disgusting and vile customer service from both pharmacist and pharmacy tech. When I came to the counter to ask about a product instead of being greeted like a human being. I was told “we’re out of kids cough syrup”. HOW DISGUSTINGLY RUDE. My first time ever . It’s a shame I work next door , but rest assured I will make sure this issue is brought to both target and cvs’ attention. You two individuals don’t deserve to be a doctor of Pharma. Far from it. With that attitude you will get nowhere. hotshots lol my dear glorified cashiers , you’re time is almost up.there’s nothing you can do that a robot can’t . They will literally replace you with AI and robots. get a grip and understand customer service. I’d rather deal with a touch screen panel that deal with you degens. I will never ever allow anyone I love to go here without me , this behavior is unacceptable and DISGUSTING. When I brought issue to store management I was told “nothing can be done, they’re run by CVS” . This CVS is located within target and when asked for CVS manager nobody was to be found. So this establishment is operating without management? This needs to get fixed , imagine what other vile stuff they have been telling customers. I just had questions about a certain product.

Possibly the worst experience i've had in a target. Like last time, it starts in the electronics department where a kind gentleman, (who we later found out works produce) was helping customers. He went above and beyond to help me with my purchase of the new Air-pod Pros. He went to the back a few times and stayed with me to figure out which the new ones were and if they were allowed to sell them. (There was another employee in the back who mixed the 2 air-pod's release dates). After thinking we had got it right and purchased the first ones I head to the car to realize they are in fact the wrong ones... So I go back in and he helps me resolve the situation, heads to the back once more and comes out with the ones i was originally looking for. Now heres where it gets interesting. Targets policy for exchanges is that they're handled at guest services.. Not a problem. The kind gentleman escorted me to the front of the store and handed me off to another employee well call mrs b. (also not supposed to be working guest services). He vouched for me and said I just came in and he sold me the wrong ones and that all i needed was a simple exchange, and he asked that she took care of me. To that gentleman (you know who you are) Thank you. After leaving she carried on with the exchange and began to inspect the air-pods as one should! I believe they have every right to ensure i didn't tamper with the product. However, she began to read the serial numbers on the air-pod's themselves, and the product packaging, stating multiple times she was hard on sight and even used a phone to magnify them. After seeing they didn't match (which i was not informed), security comes over to give a second look. Through this whole exchange i was made to feel like i did something wrong. As my appearance wasn't necessarily of one with money. I paid for the product in cash and each of my bills were checked. Security also said they did not match but said to go on with the exchange because he wasn't sure they were supposed too. A simple google search will tell you, "The simple reason that the serial numbers on AirPods and their case don't match, is because all Apple devices have a unique serial number. AirPods are technically individual products, as is their charger case, despite the fact that they are intrinsically linked to one another." Target. Do better.

This store is always a mess. Staff is nowhere to be found and the cosmetic areas are always a mess. They only let you do self-checkout but also don't except any cash payments. The Starbucks here is always closed as well. You are better off driving the extra 5 minutes to the target in south Setauket.

I just moved to the area, and the three times I’ve come here, they force you to use self checkout. They never have any registers open. Goods are more expensive and I’m forced to ring up my own items? What if I have a cart full of groceries? I’d rather drive farther and go to a different target.

Never any products I need on the shelves. Carts all over the lot and the elderly who may not realize there are none in the store have to go retrieve one. Carts in handicapped spots making parking difficult for those people whom may need the spot and can’t jump out to move it. Some employees ignore you while others actually help. They make you use self checkout and only open a register if that line gets too long.
