Dr. Winkler and Nicole are the biggest animal lovers and always put my mind at ease when it comes to my dog, Leo. I have full faith in all that they do. They are practical, compassionate, fair, and just perfect with their care of animals. I am very thankful to have them as our veterinarian.

I’ve been bringing my pets( dogs and cats ) to Dr. Winkler for years and I am always amazed with the care him and his assistant gives them. My dog especially dudes from severe anxiety so he is always scared and nervous and their approach is always so kind with the way they attend to him. They have been able to give my dog the care he needs that no one else was able to provide. Honestly the best vet on the island.

I brought my dog Clyde here for the first time today for a meet the vet and well visit. I was impressed with Dr. Winkler's concern for a loose dog outside the facility. He stopped speaking with me, grabbed a leash and went to capture the dog. The owner was walking way ahead of the dog, with no leash on Middle Country Road, and Dr. Winkler talked with the owner about the danger of letting the dog run loose. He then gave the man a leash, and the man and the dog continued safely on their way. He apologized for walking away, and I told him that the dog's safety was important. Thank you for your care and concern for all dogs.

Dr. Winkler is absolutely amazing. He is kind, gentle, compassionate and patient with his pet patients and their humans. He is thorough and answers any questions you have and you never feel rushed. He was there for me at the end of two of my dogs and went above and beyond to support me. You won't regret bringing your pets here. Staff is wonderful too!

Dr. Winkler, always ready to help. He'll do whatever it takes to make your pet feel better. If any further treatment seems necessary, he gives several referrals. Thank goodness he was on call.
