This place is structured horrifically... If you are a walk-in patient you are treated like a third-class citizen.. the CEOs that run and operate this company are clueless as to what's going on inside their lobbies and should be forced to step down.. in the 3 hours I waited and eventually was forced to leave I witnessed countless technical issues and massive confusion and angry customers inside their lobby.. this company needs immediate restructure from the top down.. there are many alternative phlebotomy companies and Quest will be off my list forever...

Going into Quest in Selden NY to pick up a stool sample kit that the Dr sent for me to pick-up. It took 20 minutes for someone to come out of the back rooms and help. They gave me a handful of plastic cups, and a huge container and said to just put the stool in the container and bring it back. No directions.. No guidance, so I did what they said to do,, then they said they can’t send what I’ve brought back, and will have to do the test again.. Obviously they have no idea what’s going on.. Understaffed and not trained. Will be changing labs..

The worst place to get any kind of test done ever the only reason why I came here was for my siblings bloodwork they’re little kids age 9 and 12. They didn’t eat the whole day we came here at Saturday, June 8, 9:00. They made us wait until after theyre closing time around 12:30. The workers don’t seem to care at all also. And they are really rude I told them we had been waiting for over 2-3 hours and they said sorry we have to take the other people first in the rudest way possible. This is the worst place to get any test done. I recommend sunrise medical laboratories but the only downside with them is that they don’t take u on Saturday.

My issue is less with this particular Quest location, although I am still waiting for lab results for a sample that I dropped off a week ago. Aside from that, the location itself is one of the better ones. My biggest complaint is with regard to the fact that you cannot get in touch with a human being through the company's website or phone system. From this point on, I will be looking for a lab that provides support from a human being and not chatbots or automated phone systems.

My 1 year old son needed bloodwork done, which of course can be troubling for any child. The tech, Jill, was unprofessional and rude. Did not introduce herself, or do anything to try and calm my son. She brought in an assistant who was much kinder and at least tried her best to comfort my crying son. I would never use this place again as long as Jill is there.

IF YOU GO TO THIS OFFICE AND A WOMAN NAMED JILL WALKS IN. LEAVE IMMEDIATELY OR REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE. My one year old nephew had to get bloodwork today and I couldn’t have imagined a more UNFRIENDLY, RUDE phlebotomist to take his blood for the first time. She had ZERO patience or compassion for a baby who obviously did not know what was going on. If she has no patience left to do this job then she needs to find a new career path instead of creating such an unwelcoming atmosphere. My family and I will NEVER be returning.

Very easy to make appointments online or with your phone. If you get there by your appointment, you are usually called right away. I've had very many blood tests and their technicians are excellent finding veins right away and I almost never bruise, which says a lot because I am a blood thinner, and therefore, I bruise very easily.

I love this location. I have been coming here for many years. It seems some negative reviews have been left by walk-ins but I always make an appointment online. I like the appointment confirmations by email and text. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 5 minutes to be called in. The technicians are always knowledgeable and quick. I recently had some bloodwork done by my regular doctor (the same panel I normally do here @ Quest) and my doctor's office billed it incorrectly to my insurance company creating a $500 bill that I should not owe. Quest always bills my insurance company without incident! (and 3 months later I'm still trying to fix the billing issue my regular doctor's office caused... I should have stuck with Quest!)
