I am giving a 4 starr review for this Petco location. I set out to purchase a small aquarium filter so my son and I could turn a large pickle jar into an aquarium. I began my search at Walmart and ended it at this Petco location. The reason this is a 4 star review rather than a 5 is simple. After my visit to Walmart, I stopped off at this Petco and found the filter I wanted to buy. It had no price tag so I found an associate and inquired about the price. I was told it was $25.00 and decided against buying it. I went home and continued my search online and found the exact filter at the exact Petco store location for $12.00. I purchased it online and drove back and picked it up. Although, I was forced to make a second trip everyone was kind and helpful even though they misquoted the correct price and when I walked through the door, my filter was ready to go. As far as shopping goes I can understand mistakes (which is what happened in this case.). Especially when everyone who works at the store is kind and customer oriented. If I didn't have to make a return trip it would have been a 5 star review.

I dont go here to be talked down to! I try to help by giving a sku number and am met with pettiness??? Never again will i shop here! The first guy didnt even help me at all!!! A woman who looked to be the manager told me they didnt have what i needed and i appreciated that so thats why there is 2 stars and not 1! Ive had good service here before but not this time?

This petco is clean and easy to navigate. Also their pet tag machine works!! Unlike the other TWO petco locations.

I took my mini Goldendoodle for his first grooming. I was aware that he had some matting, and that the groomer might have to shave the areas. That was not my issue, but the way he was left with deep shaving, and then not… There was no blending!
His rear end was shaved in the shape of a pair of pantaloons, that was the description that the groomer gave to me when I went to pick him up. My pup was very anxious and not a good experience for him or the groomer. She was extremely professional in describing what went on, and I truly liked her. My problem was with the finished product, no blending! Absolutely unacceptable,.
I spoke to the night manager, MARK that evening.
I explained my experience, and my inexperience being that this is my first dog. I left there without demanding a refund or a re-do with some better blending.
My lesson learned.
But I was so emotional when I saw my pup, he was barking, and I just wanted to get out of there.
**The good part of this review is that MARK, the manager on duty that night, could not have been more professional, understanding and provided he me with the best of customer service.
He offered me two options…
A full refund or bring my pup back and have the groomer attempt to do some blending. After some discussion with family members, I went with the refund.
I will use the money to bring him elsewhere and another week or two to have his coat blended.

I just had to take a minute to let the world know how amazing the staff at this Petco are. Today, my daughter and I went in looking for a small animal to add to our pet collection and Jackie spent over an hour of her time patiently answering our questions, providing guidance and caution to each of the animals we considered. When deciding on a hamster, Jackie walked us through the store and helped ensure we had every item that we would need to provide a safe, loving environment for our new pet. She provided us with care instructions, dos and don'ts, and was just amazingly sweet with my daughter. The animals at this Petco look sooooooo healthy compared to the ones in the pet store we (until today) more frequently visited. It was so apparent to me that Jackie and her supervisor (whose name I can't remember!) care VERY much about these animals and the experience they have once they leave their care and become someone else's responsibility. It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that while I waited for Jackie to be available to assist me, she spent her time patiently answering the questions of a concerned, older woman, in regards to a canary that the woman had. Jackie was so sweet with this woman, providing the same level of focused attention and care and concern for the animal, while also considering the feelings and needs of the woman she was assisting. I am SO impressed and will ensure that as many of my future pet needs are considered and addressed at this particular Petco. Thank you Jackie!!
