Horrible experience. I went there to get my dog a haircut and the girl refused to cut him, meanwhile I've had him cut there multiple times!! She only offered a wash and nail trim, why would I do that when my dog hasn't had a hair cut in over a year? She wouldn't put clippers on him and said no one else does at this location either, which to me is crazy. So long gone petco, after bringing my dog here for years and then getting denied just put a bad taste in my mouth, I will take my dog to a local mom and pop shop and get him his hair cut there. 0/10 horrible horrible services here. Why would you offer hair cut and grooming and trimming services on the app when I made my appointment to just deny me and say you don't offer these services?

If I could give this store 0 stars I wou. Went in today to purchase a gerbil for my grandson. The young man insisted I had a cage for exercise so he would not sell me the gerbils he had. The cage I have and I showed is multilevel with tubes for them to run around. He was rude and went to get his boss. While I was talking to boss he proceeded to fight with my husband because he was bonded with the gerbil. Is it not their job to find homes for these animal. He said these gerbils had been there awhile. I will never shop at this store again.

If I can give a zero I would. Booked a dog grooming today and not more than 5 minutes I get a call saying the lady was scared of my dog biting her. Once I picked up my dog, he was completely different, he was even aggressive with me!! This has never happened before with groomings. They would really teach their staff how to confront costumers as well. I don't recall her name but one groomer even recommended a lady for my dogs behavior... what behavior?? I don't even know. Truly disappointed in Petco.

Waited for 30 mins for a hermit crab and no one ever came to help me no one there was helpful they kept paging someone … as many employees just walk around doing nothing will never come back here again …

Treat their betta fish like garbage just like every other petco. This one in particular will have maybe 2-4 bettas at a given time sitting in a small cup of their waste/and or floating on their sides with clear swim bladder issues. I would not be surprised if their water never gets changed in their time on the shelves. And not only do they carry tiny bowls and filterless "tanks" for betta, 2 gallon tanks with "betta dividers", ect, but they actively promoted the use of them for bettas. Aquarist team should do better and not promote inadequate care, but not surprising since they provide inadequate. I don't even want to know how malnourished their reptiles probably are. Shop at your discretion.

i just bought a tarantula here today and i had such a great experience! a very nice and funny lady, jackie helped me and she was so kind. she helped me get everything i needed and even recommended me many things. she helped me get a vet & helped me choose which food. & she did a spectacular job taking out the tarantula for me which can be very scary her and sam were great workers and they deserve a raise! thank you so much

Honestly, I bought 3 mollys for my tank, it was a ten gallon, with a heater, the right water temperature, completely cleaned out and the water was treated, all of them died within 4 hours, the only one still alive is my snail

I cannot stand this one particular Petco store! The employees always have a miserable look on Their faces, nobody offers to help you find anything.. just very negative energy there. I took my very well behaved Rottweiler there one time, I dropped his leash for a Split second to get something out of my bag, he was in a 'sit', didn't move an inch.. when an employee came over and scolded me for not holding onto his leash!! Talk about breed discrimination!! I will NEVER give them my business... we walked out. They have horrible reviews on Yelp... I can see why.

I would put a zero if they let me. My wife scheduled a haircut for my dog about a month ago. When I got there today I was asked for his rabies shot card. I said he has a tag on his collar. The girl said no people swap them. So I guess she is calling me a liar? Then asked what vet we use I told her. She was looking up the number. I said I have the number. No I'll look it up she said. I guess she thinks I would lie about that as well? The vet was closed. Then asked is there someone at home to bring the card. When I said no because my wife is at work. She said I can re schedule your dog. At that point I had it. Went back into the store to look for a manager. One came over. Did not care at all. So I walked out! Told them I won't ever go back This is what my got from them. Judge for yourself. PETCO: Thanks! TJ's appointment is confirmed. Please remember that up-to-date vaccinations are required for the appointment. We respectfully request at least 24 hour notice for cancellations. Where does it say bring a shot card???? Most people I'm sure would think the tag on his collar would be what's needed.

This grooming service is a stellar example of how to drive a business into the ground. While the groomer is fairly skillful, the store is unresponsive to calls, generally not available or not even open at the scheduled time and always filled with excuses for the unprofessional approach. The young adults that work there are difficult to locate and speak to the customers like it is the last thing they want to do. My best recommendation is to avoid this store at all costs.
