This is probably one of the worst bank branches in the area and I’m not only inclusive to chase branches. This is a comparison to other banking brands too. They are lacking in services to their members, when presented with questions regarding missing services, smirk is presented. I do like chase online banking, so this is not a issue from that perspective, but some banking services need to be in person and it seems this branch isn’t meeting fundamental standards of services as well as proper customer etiquette. This is a non-tolerant establishment as it might be put by some. So please bank with chase, but do not use this branch as your home branch. Oddly the Teachers Federal Credit Union next door has all services at all times.

I had to close my savings account because I have insufficient funds to avoid the $5 "monthly services fees." The teller Matt, made fun of me repeatedly, criticizing my income and employment status. It was a degrading reminder why I exclusively use the ATM.

Bunch of lost people who have no clue what they’re doing or expected from them. Spend 45 mins to endorse an insurance check, since I have a mortgage loan with Chase. Then when I went to deposit the check in my other bank account, turns out the employees at the Chase branch forgot to put the all important stamp. Later on, had to spend another 20 mins to correct that, while dealing with their attitude.

I've been a happy customer of Chase Bank for many years. However.... Recently I've had to do many transactions inside the Selden branch which involved a bank representative. I met w/Iris 2 separate times & she helped me. I returned the next day with 40 minutes til closing & waited for a rep - No one greeted me, but there were 2 reps just chatting it up, who glanced my way. After standing up periodically to remind the reps of my presence, and 10 minutes later, I finally walked up to the teller, & she went to the bank rep. She came back to tell me that I needed an appt. That's something the reps could've said, instead of ignoring a customer & talking about personal things. Days later I sched an appt; Omar called me to reconfirm that morning - good start! I met with him to remove myself from 1 Acct - which he did, & to close a dormant Acct, When he saw that I had a small amount in this dormant Acct, he told me to transfer the funds. I had difficulty doing this & showed him my phone & he basically reiterated what he said - to transfer funds then he'll close it. As if he'd rather do something else as he waited for me to transfer the funds. I said to myself - No shyt Sherlock, I need help. I said thanks & left & went to the bank teller. She helped me. I don't want to say Chase Selden has an issue, because the tellers that I've encountered there, are always friendly, not lazy, & are accommodating. So, I'm going to continue my dealings with the bank, but, I'll use the reps at a different location when needed. I've since transferred out a lot of my funds to a different bank. I hope that Chase bank works on their customer service skills & how to deal with customers. That, to me, is the experience-friendly, patient, kind, people who know their job....and if they don't know their job, they're not too lazy to find out!! It's because of this experience - not being acknowledged as I sat for 10 minutes, getting 1/2 azz assistance when I needed help, that's why I took my real funds & took them somewhere that I know I'm valued. Gotta teach them to respect you!

They have one guy who handles lien releases and he takes appointments. So if you walk in you sit there until someone can let you know that and if he has appointments you can decide to wait. He gives you his card and it has the wrong phone which I guess would be fine if the branch had the right phone listed. At TFCU this was a 5 minute process so I don’t know why he could not squeeze someone in. So glad I cancelled my chase account.

Worst customer service, I tried calling them for 5 hours straight and it kept saying everyone is busy, they don’t have enough employees or something??

Since I was a boy I’ve been with chase thru other banks getting bought out. I have stopped banking period for a few years and my checks were in my gf account. I figured I’d re open an account but one you have to make an appointment. There’s hardly anyone in there and the person said there sight is down and kept getting called away. I left. This bank is so understaffed and it never used to be. Courtesy isn’t even there. I’m going to a different bank. Sorry.

Honestly, I don't know why this place is so popular but I can't stand it. They advertised for entry level employees but they didn't consider me. You got to be RICH to open a savings account and there are always suspicious unknown charges and fees each month. I used to work as a cashier and I saw how people struggled with their cards getting declined constantly. They would randomly stop cards because of suspicious activity. It would always be a Chase card. Ridiculous. That's why I would never consider making them my main bank.

It’s the big lady Telling me to have a good day in the middle of me talking and asking questions about the regulations they have on giving you your money. Reconsider if chase bank is ever one of your choices! Never again...
