“Assalamo Alaikum bhi.3:30 pm today I bought beef and if you see the cc photage, the butcher can clearly be seen cleaning nose with back of the hand. I appreciate your hallal service but please please train staff for hygiene along side hallal. Hallal means also best hygiene practices as Hazoor PAK taught us.I have been buying meet from Maharaja and other hallal places they use good quality tissue to clean nose water and never give an impression if meet was touched with nosy hands or sneezed upon. Please take my suggestion and boost your sale. Only because of this reason I buy it somewhere lease. Last time I personally complained the brother there but rather he used insulting words and told me not to make a purchase (buy some where else).Please bother to fix this issue and help Muslim community best hygiene in your store please pleaseI did not have any other way to reach you. “Awesome food precooked from Kosher Meats yesterday. My daughter and I stumbled in while shopping in the center by accident. It was fate. There were meal deals in the window. 2 BBQ chickens, sides, soup pudding at a reasonable price and so delicious! Even my Jewish Mother-in-law loved it! Rugelach is my favorite!”

They always have specials on many items throughout the store. They have meat, deli, fish, bakery, and produce. Sorry if I've missed something. Go see for yourself. A fabulous experience.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”

My preferred sandwich is the Hot Capicola with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, olive oil, vinegar, and balsamic glaze; they execute it perfectly every time. The owner is always a pleasure to interact with. I concluded my meal with a delightful cup of espresso. Visiting Joe's spot is always a good decision, and you will never leave feeling disappointed.”

“The new owners did a great job with updating the space, prices are fair compared to other grocery stores and they still have a great selection.Pat still owns the garden center next door and it’s amazing! We got our Christmas tree and poinsettias there. Unbeatable prices like before. It’s the best place for plants in spring summer time and now they have seasonal stuff.”
“What a wonderful store ?
The food is phenomenal! They even have a very specific style of sausage, Chevalatta, that my 94y.o. dad used to get all the time from Corona. It's a specialty and they had it! We got sausage filled with broccoli rabe, regular ring sausage, multiple types of taralli, and ravioli.
But what makes it completely worth driving across the county for me was the customer service! Kind, big smiles all around, just an absolutely delight to go there. I found them on a whim driving somewhere else.
I'll definitely be going back and bringing my Dad so he can reminisce as well as get more amazing food!
