Perfect bacon egg cheese on a roll, the were medium well, a tiny runny but not dripping. Perfect. Very nice folks. It felt like there was a family gathering so I took a walk down the block to the public park overlooking the Sound. Gorgeous! Typical deli coffee, not bad. This is an old time deli. I like it a lot.

Roast beef sandwich and an Honest Tea costed me $25.46. Was expecting a great lunch and was given a trash heap of a meal. Absolute waste of money and time. Store looks appealing but wait until you pay and get to eat. Don't waste your money. Don't trust Arata's.

$23.20 for a kielbasa on a roll and turkey on a bagel with lettuce and tomato? And to add insult to injury, they left out the tomato!!! Ridiculous! What a rip-off. And I live in Manhattan, so I'm used to high prices. Don't go here.

Ronnie and Rachel are always at the helm.My daughter used to start her day before High School with Rachel's Oatmeal and Ronnie would make the Tour de Force Bacon Egg and cheese for me.. I grew up in sea cliff and never really went to Arata’s deli. A few months ago I really wanted a BLT and my husband wanted a roast beef sandwich. I walked there and was so pleasantly surprised. Amazing sandwiches. The Jon’s Choice hero is absolutely delicious! The owner is the kindest nicest person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. I now go there at least once a week. We are so lucky to have such a great family owned establishment in our community. The prices are comparable to other deli’s in the area. This IS sea cliff. If you can afford to pay the exorbitant taxes you can afford a $7 BLT, especially when they put a TON of bacon on it.

Best Corned Beef, Cabbage, Spuds and Carrots dinner that I’ve purchased or made. Plus the Irish soda bread was really good, and the rice pudding was outstanding.

Great food. Lovely service. Friendly, polite staff. My Son says "If you live in Sea Cliff it's a MUST"! On a personal note, they once briefly had a muffin named after me!

$3 an Arizona... Overcharging for simple beverages. I'd love to help small businesses but I can see that this place doesn't deserve a penny from my pocket.
