Trash USPS, employees are disgustingly rude, and never answers phones. Called them September 8th 2023 at 2:15PM so whatever man that was working at this time and date was horribly rude and shouldn’t be working a job where it is customer facing.

Donna is a fantastic worker, she is always positive and engaging, and my packages always see their way out in one piece.The only negative feedback i can think of is the very large gap time in the middle of the day when the office is closed, i feel like this location is busy enough that there should be more than one person on the clock at one time, so breaks are covered.

Donna at the Scotia, NY post office is the best!! She is always so polite, and more than willing to accommodate most any request and help with anything you need. Today, I walked in with a large package to ship out, and she made several suggestions on how I could save some money on postage. Before I knew it, the package was cut apart and shaped back together to form a smaller box formed around the item I was shipping. I would have never thought of that, and thanks to Donna, I saved some money and my item will definitely ship more securely than it would have before in such a large box. Every time I see her there, slamming busy with a line out the door or at a slow moment with not a person in sight, she always has a smile on her face and is the nicest USPO employee I’ve EVER dealt with. A million thanks to Donna, and all the praise in the world!

This Post office is good for picking up stamps & mailing small packages. I do like the closeness of this Post Office. I live in Scotia. When I have to Mail larger boxes I go to the Glenville Office. All the people in this Office have always been helpful. I just wish that they had larger boxes to mail goodies to my Granddaughters.

Gary is the RUDEST PERSON IVE EVER MET!!! He knows it and doesn't care. I've complained several times about him, and I don't know how he still has a job! HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! SO sick of having to deal with someone who CLEARLY HATES HIS JOB AND THE PUBLIC!!!!

My package had a simple In-State (within New York State few hours drive actually) and was DIRECTLY shipped from the SCHENECTADY, NY 12309 post office to CaliforniaCITY OF INDUSTRY CA DISTRIBUTION CENTER and then In Transit to Next Facility. God knows where my package is located. The Post office in Schenectady is responsible for this mess and has done NOTHING to rectify the problem. Where is my Package????

Awful experience. The man working was snappy and short. Asking simple questions was like pulling teeth. I WILL NOT BE BACK. & this is the closest post office to my house.

Employee refused to sell stamps because I didn't know the exact weight of my envelopes. Just trying to mail some cards made of paper, not sheets of osmium. Mind blowing, I'll get my stamps elsewhere.

I've had issues with Gary ever since I started my Poshmark business and began shipping out of this post office. I'm often yelled at for dates on my labels. Poshmark prints the day the item is ordered on the label, i'm Given 7 days to ship the item according to Poshmark. Gary insists I must ship same or next day otherwise he won't accept my package. I recently sent a package out from the Burnt Hills USPS in a large box with a Poshmark label, and they accepted it. I brought another package, same weight, same box to the post office on Mohawk Ave. and Gary attempted to say “it's too large†you're going to pay a $50.00 surcharge cause the box was “too largeâ€. Which is ridiculous because a neighboring post office accepted the same box. I've also shipped out larger boxers from that post office when Gary wasn't there and they accepted it just fine. Very rude customer service, very ridiculous. Avoid that P.O. if you can, you're better off leaving it on your porch for the mailman or dropping it off at a different Post Office.
