Friendly place to fuel up and pick up what you need.

This place ain’t super bad but it ain’t that great, it’s the only gas station in town so it has that going for it. But the store in side is straight up creepy. I feel like I’m gonna get stabbed in there or rob, it’s not welcoming is what I’m trying to saying. Yet again I’m talking about a gas station(they tend to be not the most amazing place in the world). It also has a smaller collection of stuff to buy.

While driving south on good old I-88, my gas tank light came on. Unlike the NYS Thruway, there aren't any service stations on the interstate. Sure, there are exits all along the road, but some are close to I-88 and some are in the middle of the quaint, little towns that dot southern New York. Schenevus, however you pronounce it (we asked a local and I can't remember), is one of those towns. And this gas pump is clearly as back-woods as you can get. You can't pay at the pump, you don't pay in advance, and there is one pump handle per grade of gas. When you lift the lever to start pumping the old fashioned meter starts rolling as you depress the handle. The store was just your regular convenience store... nothing special. I didn't like how the employees were discussing their business problems with the customers, as I thought that was unprofessional. Perhaps in Schenevus everything is open and shared. While I never try to end up in this little town, I seem to find myself getting gas here several times. If you want an old fashioned experience, come here.

It says diesel, but nothing with a trailer can fit.
