If you want to pay with your debit card and have it tied up for 72hrs without the payment going through every tho its charged to your card but their system didn’t receive it and have to turn around and pay cash out of pocket , go here. If you want to port your old phone number over and have it change without your consent to a new number go here, If you want to update your new iPhone to new iOS be prepared to go to your house and use your WiFi you go here. You want people who don’t care about the service they provide go here. The one star was for taking my money which they are very good at. Extremely poor service and yes I have all my call records trying to change back to my original number even after providing them with account information and pass code pin.I also have my bank statement and call logged taking to the bank. Also have the call record and apple case number to update the new phone I bought.walk out the store with a paper weight IPhone 15 pro max.The rest is up to you.The manager should take vacation. Permanently.

They had me wait for 15 minutes just to not help me at all. Literally something they could have taken care of when I checked in. It's pretty common for this location to waste your time. Only Verizon location I know of that will let you walk out the door when you're there trying to give them money and purchase products.

I had a terrible experience at this Verizon store, the staff was less than helpful. Not only could they not point me in the right direction of my needs, they didn't seem to know what they were doing at all. At every turn, they tried to get me to "come back tomorrow".A younger staff member was trying to get help from an older staff member, who was brushing her off and ignoring the fact that I had been there for almost 2 hours with little progress. When I stepped in and asked him what was going on, he was short with me and told me I needed to go to the Apple store. When I asked why they were unable to transfer my data, he blamed it on the damage to my phone (a cracked screen) and that the bluetooth wouldn't connect...It seemed like they were just trying to get me out of the store. Not only were they not helpful, but they were unpleasant, incompetent, and not informative whatsoever. I walked out with a new phone and nothing set up on it. It ruined my day, and I won't come back to this store.

I'm not sure what the criteria is when hiring people to work at your store, but it is definitely not based on customer service. I had an absolutely miserable experience trying to get my phone upgraded (iphone xr to an iphone 14 pro). The rest of my family was able to get their new phones no problem, but I went into this store by myself and they just kept trying to get me to pay more than I KNOW I'm supposed to. The manager (a very dirty man, dirt under his nails, fly was down, and just wasn't friendly), actually left mid-conversation because he didn't want to deal with it anymore. The other guy on the floor (long bangs) was just snippy with me and, again, extremely unpleasant. I ended up leaving without a phone after the manager decided it wasn't worth his time to help me. I know that I am young, but I've done my research and know what I'm supposed to be getting. I now understand why this place has such bad reviews. Will never come back, and definitely makes me reconsider Verizon as my provider.

Beware: VERIZON WIRELESS MOHAWK COMMONS STORE ARE THIEVES AND LIARS. I returned an iPhone that I got online through the Verizon app. The Verizon store at Mohawk Commons. I told the two people I was working with that I did not want the iPhone or the extra line. He told me to "turn off find my iPhone" and took the phone. They never actually returned it to stock or however they do it. They stole the new iPhone 13. Weeks later, I went back to the store to ask about why I'm being charged for the phone. He was very shady and refused to give me any receipts, he would not allow me to take a picture of his tablet screen showing that the phone was returned. He said that pictures weren't allowed to be taken in the Store.. So they stole the iPhone and left me with an open contract for 3 years!!! Verizon is terrible, but THE MOHAWK COMMONS STORE ARE THIEVES AND LIARS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE FOR ANY REASON. They took advantage of me big time. I was a Verizon customer for 18 years. I will never go back and I would never recommend them to anyone.

Attempted to upgrade 1 of our 3 phones. TYLER's way if saving me money would cost me $30 more month for my current plan plus the cost of the phone! TYLER said I couldn't upgrade 1 phone without changing plans. The extra $30 a month ( which would continue after the phone is paid off) makes the "sale" price of the phone more than out right purchase. Which TYLER also said I couldn't do without changing to a new plan. Ask TYLER if he would rather sell me a phone or lose all 3 lines! TYLER chose to lose my business!

Verizon is holding me hostage. Its costing me money to switch a phone number from residential to my commercial business. I pay the $200, than I'm told after the fact I need to pay $125 more for a security deposit? You would think the 5 K that I pay every year for 5 lines and that I've been a Verizon customer for 12 YEARS ! would give me some type of loyalty credit !! 90 minutes into my visit. They won't let me use the men's room ?? Frustrated ! Is Sprint or AT & T my next call or research ?? Update - 5 hours into this mess, everything's been completed as it should have been within my initial hour.

Bad attitudes and terrible customer service. Avoid this location at all costs. Went there to switch phones and just asked to be shown what button to push to move Apps to my new phone (not the same as phone information.) Kristen first argued with me over which phone I had (!) Then said "policies and procedures" kept her from helping me move data. I told her I didn't expect her to stand and watch the app transfer, just show me the button to use. Plus, I had talked to Verizon Customer Service on the phone and they said "no problem." All this time 5-6 other "customer representatives" stood at the counter (there were only 2 other customers) watching. So for $1600 worth of phones and a $250 a month plan I can't get 5 minutes of actual help. At least not at Niskayuna Commons!

Tried ripping me off. Walked in curious about an upgrade, since I am elegible for one. I do my homework before buying hings, and asked what the monthly cost for Galaxy note would be. The female "hipster" stated $33/mo. Exactly what I expected. However, when asked for out of pocket expense, like if I wanted to walk out with it now, she said over $150. Now, doing my homework, I knew I can get it for $63+30 activation fee......she stated there is an accessory pack that comes with it. Accessory pack, huh? Just another way for a store to pad it's profits.......i think I'll buy it online from verizon, wait the 2 days, and save $60 or $70..........

Had to go to the Verizon store to see what to do about a Plantronics Bluetooth headset that wasn't working properly, but I could not find my receipt. Two of the associates were VERY helpful. One (I am sorry I did not get your name) found the online receipt, found that the headset was under the year warranty and replaced the headset!!! $129.95 headset was replaced under warranty. I am beyond thrilled, thank YOU! :)

Very rude lady working there, she laughed in my face and made me feel as a customer that I was NOT right. Avoid at all costs!

I remain a fan of Verizon's network and little else, from their odd online support and business arrangements that needlessly balkanize their various products/services to their far-from-helpful bricks and mortar stores. My experience with this location is mezzo-mezzo: they did get me a replacement battery for my somewhat old phone but neglected to give me accurate advice about the free or low cost phones I qualified for instead of paying for my replacement battery (which I only figured out after I'd bought the thing, of course) but on the third hand they warned me off the "official" phones the location displays were pushing in favor of waiting a few months based on their own experiences. The display models here seem to be in varying states of functionality, which I don't find helpful, and I can never find the accessories I'm looking for and end up ordering them online from third parties much of the time. (Maybe I should give them a thumbs up for that?) In any event, the store is there, you will need to use it occasionally if you're already a Verizon customer, and as far as walking in cold looking for a new phone or plan, while I can hardly recommend it, I know of several other worse alternatives in line-of-sight from this place belonging to other purveyors so you could definitely do worse. How's that for damning with faint praise? Well, the whole industry is corrupt and venal, a pox on all their houses, I say, and thank goodness there's still a little competition.
