Predatory contracts, you’re better off going to a gym like ABC Sports and Fitness that doesn’t trick you into contracts that charge you $90 to initially sign up, $25 monthly, $60 randomly, and then $80 to cancel your contract that you’ve had for years! And they are not up front about these fees either. It’s a scam. I would rather pay more monthly for an honest gym without crazy, dishonest charges.

This establishment is an excellent gym where I highly recommend engaging in workouts with personal trainer Tresa. She has extensive education and experience, excels in suggesting effective workouts, and can assist you in reaching your desired goal.

This business makes it impossible to cancel your membership! I am pretty sure it's illegal. They say I have to cancel on the website but the function does not work! I informed them about it and requested several times by phone and in writing to cancel but they refuse to cancel, pointing to their nonfunctioning cancel membership function on their website. I will be launching a complaint with New York State.

Been at Vent for about a month now, and I am in love with this place. It can get pretty busy during the main times, and I attribute that to the quality of service and training equipment available. The staff is extremely polite and friendly, often helping with any problems that arise. The physical therapy machines are so nice and free with most memberships. Loving my time here and look forward to many more months! :)

I wouldn't recommend signing up for this location or this gym there is a 80$ cancellation fee that is not mentioned by staff when signing up its pretty crowded a fair amount of time. If you're trying to go after work don't. Amenities like the oxygen bar rarely work, the smoothie bar shuts down fairly early. I think there are other gyms with better prices, more space and more consistent amenities in comparison to Vent fitness.

I WAS ON A 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT IN THE 518 AREA CODE AND DECIDED VENT FITNESS IS SUITABLE BECAUSE I AM A 8th Degree Black Belt and prefer to workout alone and everything was fine until the last 3 MONTHS WHEN A RETIRED POLICE WHO IS WELL KNOWN HAD NOTHING ELSE TO DO BUT STALK ME AND FOLLOW ME AROUND BETWEEN 4:50 /6:00 EVEN TO THE POINT WHERE THINGS GOT COMICAL IN MAY HE STARTED WEARING HIS SKI CAP IN MAY WHEN IT WAS 90 DEGREES ONE DAY AND THEN HIS FRIENDS OLD WHITE MEN RETIRED THOUGHT OR ATTEMPTED TO SCARE ME WHICH IS A COMPLETE JOKE…. HOWEVER BECAUSE I AM A 8th Degree black Belt and felt threatened one day and ALMOST BEAT UP 2 GUYS AND THE WHOLE ENTIRE STAFF IDILY SAT BY EVEN WHEN I SPENT $50.00 TO AND TREATED THE WHOLE STAFF TO SNACKS BUT THREE MONTHS LATER IM STILL GETTING CHARGED FOR A MEMBERSHIP I NO LONGER USE BECAUSE IM IN LOS ANGELES AND THEY KNOW THAT WHICH THEY ATTEMPTED TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP BECAUSE I WAS $5.00 SHORT AND WAS NOTHING BUT POLITE AND COURTESY TO THESE FOLKS BUT VENT FITNESS WILL BE A GREAT READ TO AMERICA WHEN ME AND OTHER JOURNALISTS SHARE OUR STORIES ABOUT LAZY PEOPLE WHO FEEL INTITLED …. A good gym in general. Clean, good staff. Can only go by the early morning time when i go. There is ample equipment and room to stretch out, use equipment and get a good workout. No pool at this facility, but it has the other basics. Nice little health shake bar as well. Try the steroid-infused peanut butter..it will make you feel swell (jk)

Actually kinda disappointed in the place.Signed up a couple of months ago, I was expecting it to be higher standards than other gyms because of the fact that it's VENT FITNESS. Secondly the fact that they are more expensive than other gyms. Just to get started at this gym, you are looking at 70 bucks, then 3 months after you sign up, u get charged 49 bucks on top of your monthly fee, the 49 bucks is a annual fee, which was never told to you when you sign up btw, its written in small font all the way on the bottom, i found that out when i went into the gym and asked about the 49 bucks she said that goes to this gym for updates. Then, on my card, the monthly fee and that annual fee says vent fitness guilderland, so i asked why it said Guilderland, and she said you set up as Guilderland to be your facility, which i do not under stand because i signed up in the Niskayuna location, not sure how i CHOSE Guilderland. So my annual fee and monthly fee go to a different location than the gym i go to makes a lot of sense. Lastly, most of the equipment in this facility is deffinetly older, a lot of wear and tare on the equipment. The end of 1 of the barbell literally pinched me because the nut was loose on it, and i literally started bleeding. Many other machines are also loose and not good. The bathroom literally never have paper towels in them, when the do, they give you like 3 inches of paper towel. None of the wait scales work. The bathroom is always dirty and smelly. Some sinks dont work , and some stalls dont work. Just sucks. I should have stuck with planet fitness, cheaper and cleaner. But i am in a 1 year contract, so im stuck.

Staff is always super friendly and the facility is clean. Great water massage beds and shake bar. Classes are always a good bet. Zumba with Meegan is the BEST!

The boxing class was perfect for all ages and levels of fitness. He incorporates boxing moves and different weighted exercises to get you exhausted and sore by the end of the class. He was also very personable and easy to understand. I would recommend everyone try it atleast 1 time. Kenny is great to train with!!!
