This is a place straight out of my most beautiful dreams! The owner is such a wonderful person her passion bleeds through the whole shop. She is so knowledgeable and willing to teach. This is one of my favorite if not my favorite plant shop I’ve ever seen. Even the ones in NYC do not compare. So happy this place exists up here. I’ve bought some and will continue to buy plants here. Do yourself a favor no matter what your plant experience is visit this shop and grab a plant. If you’re unsure of care just ask she will inform you. She even helped me correct a mistake I made on one of my plants. In short go and enjoy the experience!

Such a lovely shop. The greenery is breathtaking, i could spend all day in here looking at everything and just feeling the peace. Angie was very helpful and kind.

We were searching for our first houseplant ever and I’m so happy we found this place! The employee and even the customers were helping us so much. We got 2 plants for the price of just $16!

Love this place!! Feels like you’re walking in a jungle! The people were so nice and helpful. They have tons of live plants big and small and surprisingly good prices!! They also had a sale table!! I like how they had pots and dried flowers as well. Very neat place worth to check out

If you haven’t been in here, what are you doing with your life??? UpShining Houseplant has beautiful and lush plants, teeny to YOOGE sized, and smells amazing. You get half-off the pot when you buy the plant for it. There is a BOGO section and a sale section. Plant parents unite!! ????

Great prices. The 1-star review is talking about an exceedingly rare collector’s cultivar that is carefully kept and slowly growing in a humidified cabinet. So… a rare and precious specimen. ?Anyway!Great independent plant store with rare collector species, potting services, and a knowledgeable owner. The owner explained to me how to care for each of the plants I bought and advised me on plants to buy for a low-light room. I have returned a couple times and am always pleased! Woman-owned!

If you're looking for a lovely small business that is also woman-owned AND you happen to be a fan of rare houseplants, you've found an amazing spot. You are met with a relaxing and calming houseplant jungle atmosphere that any enthusiast can appreciate. There's a variety of plants ranging from more common and easier care to rare and more complex care. The staff has always been amazing. They're knowledgeable and very friendly. The sales and specials they have are great too. They have even started a point reward program that can earn you free repotting for your plant babies! I love visiting and have always found what I'm looking for. It's worth a visit if you're just getting your feet wet (pun intended) with houseplants or if you're an avid enthusiast like myself. If you're worried about parking, being that they're on a busy road, need not worry as there is a small parking lot right in front of the shop as well as plenty of marked spaces for on-street parking.

This store is absolutely amazing! They have every kind of plant you could imagine! Monsteras and a variety of their variegations. I've bought a monstera albo and aura there that are doing amazing! I recommend this store to anyone who loves plants! They have huge string of pearls for only about $30 which is amazing! 100% recommend! The couple that runs the store are so helpful!

I discovered this shop while running errands on my lunch break and went in on a whim. I have close to 100 houseplants and usually end up ordering them online (and sometimes paying $$$ for shipping, with varying levels of quality) so I was happy to see a local place that's dedicated to them and isn't a big box store. Anyway, they have a great selection of plants, including some that are fairly difficult to find or are prohibitively expensive in other stores and online. There are various sizes of plants, from freshly propagated cuttings to full-sized; lots of different price points as well so you can get great plant babies without destroying your budget. There are just as many pots and planters available too, many which look to be handmade.I was happy to see the plants being properly cared for, with various grow lights, humidifiers, and terrariums around the shop. Most big box stores just water the plants daily or don't provide adequate humidity/proper care so they end up with root rot and/or pests. The clerk who assisted me was really friendly and knowledgeable, and was definitely a 'plant person' too so knew exactly what I was asking about.I will definitely be back many more times in the near future. Glad to be able to support a local small business, and wish the shop much continued success!
