Love this place. Donnie is insightful and I've been stuck here for hours just having good conversations with him. This is probably my favorite gun shop in the capital district, with Outlander Survival Supply being a close second. They don't carry much in semi auto though, but you can find lots of old school treasures here! Good selection of Lever, Bolt, and Break action guns. They are the only place around to find hard to get ammo.

Great people to deal with. Had a gun repaired there that had been back to the factory twice and they could'nt solve the problem. Donny had it for 2 days and now it works perfectly. I have bought many things from them and never had a bad experience. always friendly and great prices too.

I called the other day regarding a new rifle they acquired. I asked if they did trades. I was told "no" by someone named Don. Then, I asked if they buy M1 Garands...the same Don said "we are not buying those right now." I've never known a gun shop to turn down an M1 Garand so either they are not doing enough business or this Don guy has no idea what he is doing? Or, perhaps a little of both. I decided to stop in today just to see what the shop was all about. It is very small with limited firearms. The downside, they have all their long guns locked behind the counter and you have to ask to see them. I wasn't impressed! Needless to say, based on the response I received from Don and the lack of firearms they carry, I will not be returning to this store. There are MANY better options in the capital district.

Only local place that had .17 caliber cleaning rod and attachments. The gentleman went out of his way to find a .17 caliber mop attachment from his own cleaning kit as none were in stock. I feel they went above and beyond to get me situated. Thanks. Will visit again.

Everything was cool but the prices, 100 dollars for a M1 Steel pot that’s been repainted 3 times and doesn’t even have a liner, you’d be lucky to get 60 dollars for that, I’d say it’s worth 100 of it had a liner. I understand that they have to make a profit to own the place but to a WWII Reenactor and historian which had been doing collecting for years, take it from me do some research on how much something is worth because if your charging almost more then half the worth of a item then don’t expect people who know better to purchase the item. Listen it was cool and the staff was nice plenty of cool stuff but if your really set on buying a rifle there look elsewhere. M1 Garand for 2500 Dollars? Now I know my M1 Garands and this thing wasn’t anything special, I own a pristine 1944 M1 Garand Factory grade all matching parts and I’d be lucky to get 2500 for it, but in the condition this M1 was in I wouldn’t pay more then 6-700 dollars considering it’s a Winchester and not Springfield Arms. Again I advise going there and checking out what is there, however I don’t think for the even average collector the price is reasonable. Just my thoughts I hope it helps others.
