Hire more tellers. No reason why both drive thru lanes are packed all the way out to the entrance and same as inside. HIRE MORE TELLERS!!!

Came in for a new debit card, they had me wait in the lobby to see if their card machine is working or not. So I waited patiently in the lobby and I can hear two of the employees clear as day in the lobby say that they got it working, but they’re low on cards So they chose to do one for another member but not mine and tried asking me to go to another location stating that it’s down for the day.

Needed to be negative stars for this, and this review is for all bank branches. What kind of incompetent workers do you guys have working here?? Customers come in and complain about no deposits in their child's SSI account that was created 11/2023 and been complaining for 6 months+ and you still can't get the accounts right and money back into the right account are you serious right now?? Do you treat all your customers like this, if you do I would not do my banking here anymore! What is it gonna take court papers filled against you, class action lawsuits, for incompetence, negligence and lack of handling this quickly and effectively?? Sorry Kristen my family and I are not waiting any longer, this should had been fixed by now. You guys allowed deposits to go to the wrong accounts when Sefcu and cap com merged and what you did without telling customers that you guys took the old Sefcu member numbers and made new accounts with them and gave them new members numbers instead of linking those original sefcu member numbers to the original owners. You knew doing this was illegal on your part. Because if you did it the right way this would not be a problem at all now!! Also it's not just SSI/SSD disability payments either, it is any type of payments coming from them. Also when the wrong deposits were made to the wrong accounts it tell you what adult name and child name it legally belongs to. So if anyone out there receiving any type of SSI/SSD in any county in New York State I highly recommend you make sure the deposits are your if not yours then give back to the bank immediately because if you spend someone else money that is a felony on you!!! Also if you been affected by this by all means seek legal action & representation and file for a class action lawsuit.
As of today I am looking for a better bank for all my business needs and my family financial needs as well!
Also this on going problem has caused my family and myself an extreme amount of emotional distress along with trying to fight breast cancer since January 2024. This bank should be beyond ashamed of themselves for not taking appropriate action ASAP when this issue was brought up months ago. Be careful I wouldn't bank with them anymore!!!

Not all of my issues were a direct link to this branch. But once I did get brought back to a person to fix my issue. She had an attitude, was short and not helpful. Telling me I’d have to continue to wait for someone else. Okay maybe should couldn’t have helped me but she could have been more compassionate or just less rude.Update: Linda was ultimately able to help me. Thank you

Call center states drive through closes at 6pm. The other day there were about 10 staff members walking around and talking. At the window they stated the drive through closes at 5pm and refused to check on my credit card sent there. I received a call to pick it up. It’s been difficult due to working the same hours the bank is open. I called call center again who requested me to write an email to the bank and emailed me the address. She stated my card was never sent there and sent to my PO Box address as other customers have had done. I received the PIN number at the PO Box. The staff at Nisky are rude, long lines. Stayed I cannot order a new card in the branch. The person in the call center stated that was incorrect. All the 5star good reviews should be analyzed and compared to all the 1 star customer’s who would even give a zero. I have not seen anything inbetween. Does the staff at this branch discriminate against anyone that does not look like they have money? If they have a beat up older car etc? It’s something the CEO’s are looking at the reviews should be cracking down on how their branches treat ANY customer. If the websites State they close and open certain hours for loby and drive through- the employees and the branch manager do not have the right to close early anyway. Especially when the call center states the branch didn’t answer the phone when they called. I stated to her there open and we’re about 10 employees walking around talking. Union Street, the manager and the stocky employee were nice, however I still received odd look’s instead of being helped except from the nice Manager when I was at that location as well. The Manager at the Downtown Schenectady stated the bank does not help first time home buyers anymore. The call Center and the nice Manager at Union Street stated on the contrary stating what is offered for mortgage help. I feel if a person is poor like me make 50,000 or less- is discriminated against with zero help for financial goals unless persuing matters to the call center or just happen to run into a good moral manager. It needs to stop if Broadview wants to have a bank in Schenectady.Don’t cater to only one group of people better than the other. Broadview employees and managers help all.

Really nice and supportive staff at this branch! Robert Vore is a particularly great Relationship Banker with a soothing presence. He made my auto loan application seamless and was extremely patient! He explained the finest details and communicated with me consistently while I awaited approval. A true professional and honest guy at what he does!

Have had an unresolved issue for over a month now. This should never have been a problem in the first place, but SEFCU refuses to address it. I've had this bank for years now, and they have been nothing but terrible. Avoid at all costs.
