The Lion King was wonderful. I was a bit turned off by the location of our seats. I think I was confused by the seating chart. It was a long way up for me.

Just saw video online. Dan the director of operations should be fired. Swearing at people with cameras. Also spitting in persons face. Disgusting. I would not go here.

Proctor's Theater is absolutely lovely. The inside of the theater takes one back in time to a bygone era of majestic theaters. There is not a bad seat in the house, although I prefer the center orchestra area. The seats were updated a few years ago, and they are more comfortable than the old seats. Yet they are made for people with a smaller body type. We have attended many plays and performances at Proctor's over the years and the acoustics are very good in the theater. It is one of our favorite theaters.

Saw Summer: The Donna Summer Musical at Proctor's. Music and actors were wonderful. Set design was lacking. A chronicle of Donna Summers' life. An interesting story line. Proctor's is an older theater. Seats are on the narrow side. It is wheelchair accessible, but only available seats are in the rear of the auditorium. Staff was very accommodating and found appropriate seating for my scooter. Did not visit restroom.

Almost every seat is great at Proctor's Theater! The many attendants make the experience wonderful, and provide help and direction as needed. Parking is usually not a problem and buses are welcomed. There are snacks available for purchase as well as roomy bathroom facilities. As for the show, you will think you are at a Broadway-like performance. Acoustics are great! This is fun venue.

All events were canceled back in mid march so called to have a refund to credit card which they have on file and was assured it would be.It has been over a month and three phone calls and told my name was on the list for refunds. Now I have had to cancel trip and flights for march and the refund was there in a week or less.It seems they are just incompetent or happy to hold onto my money and many others as long as they can.Areal sham operation.

This little gem is a great place for gifts or personal mementos. I highly recommend you check it out, next time you're downtown.

1st time @ Proctor's and was impressed with the theater & staff. Beautiful theater! The show, Shen Yun, was very disppointing. Some theater goers left the show early. I just felt something was off and couldn't put my finger on it until on the way home, Googled the show. It's not a dance program but a religious & political cult. The backdrops were videos and very strange with heavenly skies & figures, etc. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there were subliminal messages in those videos. Pure brainwashing. Advertising overload - supposedly a non-profit enterprise. MC'S teaching the audience "I love shen yun" in Chinese. At end of show giving out free posters...propaganda. I will rate the theater 5 stars and the show 0 stars

Proctor's bring great shows to the Schenectady market. We have never had a bad seat, I think every seat has a great view of the stage. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful in seating you.
