“The bold graphic logo says it all. This is a classy, friendly business with a broad range of products and an emphasis on products by artisans in the U.S. It now features a gallery of fine art by members of the Schenectady Art Society. There is something for everyone, the old and the new and all 'fine -' in the heart of historic Schenectady with parking at the ready.”
“Top Notch Service!! I called from Los Angeles to find out if they had any gift baskets. I explained I was trying to put together an Irish breakfast Christmas surprise for a friend and Mary Ann, the owner, was more than helpful in curating all the essentials such as black and white pudding, etd. . AND she delivered it (he lives close by) at no charge the same day. My friend loved the selections she made. I rarely experience such caring customer service - and appreciate it very much!”
“Proctor's Theater is absolutely lovely. The inside of the theater takes one back in time to a bygone era of majestic theaters. There is not a bad seat in the house, although I prefer the center orchestra area. The seats were updated a few years ago, and they are more comfortable than the old seats. Yet they are made for people with a smaller body type. We have attended many plays and performances at Proctor's over the years and the acoustics are very good in the theater. It is one of our favorite theaters.”
“I love this beautiful little shop! It’s full of creations from small and local artists. The perfect place to visit for unique gifts and items you won’t find anywhere else. It’s in a beautiful historic building that is worth the visit itself. There are also on-site classes and workshops offered by some of the artists who sell there items here. There is something for everyone! I especially love the handmade soaps and lotions and so does everyone that I give them to.”
