I love the staff at the Schenectady location. I rent from there frequently and am well taken care of. Both Aaron and Luciana (I hope I spelled it right) have gone above and beyond to ensure smooth rentals.

Foolishly I returned to Enterprise Rental on State Street in Schenectady. I had forgotten about my last bad experience here about a year earlier. On that occasion I had to wait for over a hour to get a car. Once again, the place is packed. There's one man running around - doing the paperwork and apparently cleaning cars (or at least that's what he's saying). Meanwhile there's another employee who is just calling people confirming their reservations for the end of the week. I am speechless that this woman continues to call people when there are at least 5 people in line behind me and several ahead of me. In between calls this employee plays on her phone and rolls around on her chair. Hopefully this bad experience is enough for me to remember NOT to come back here!

The experience that I had renting a vehicle from here was great. From using the website to navigate which vehicles were available, to the pick up & return, the whole process was smooth. When Marcos checked me in, he informed me that the vehicle that I had reserved was unavailable, I wasn't expecting a satisfactory outcome. But to my surprise, he offered me choices that were comparable to the one that I was originally supposed to get, if not better. He went through the steps to ensure that I was getting a vehicle in good condition, and offered me optional add-ons to my reservation.The vehicle drove smooth, and I had no problems with the vehicle or service whatsoever. Upon my return, I received a call thanking me for my rental and asking about my overall satisfaction. Fantastic customer service, and a great experience overall. As a business owner, I know how important customer service/experience is to a business, and these guys delivered.

I walked -in ??♂️and was inquisitive about a “1 day” rental ?The salesman/rep /agent, (with a terrible haircut) explained to me that they only had “3 day rentals”( ?) and then looked at his female coworker and cleared his throat as if to say, “look at me!! I’m about to milk this guy” lol ? And kept emphasizing the fact that I needed a credit card! (Like Duh)?…..He did suggest that I go to the Albany airport, but then showed me that they too did not have any “one day” rentals on an app and then he told me to go to Hertz.????♂️

Service was great but PLEASE limit your use of deoderizer.The first car(Nissan Altima) I had was fine (no smell) but the second one(VW Passat) really bothered me - headaches, nausea. This is not a new situation with your office. I had a previous vehicle - a RAV 4 - a number of years ago that the deoderizer smellbwas so bad my clothes were smelly with it for days. This time I kept my windows opened in my garage and the smell never diminished.

Sneaky!!!! Honestly very disappointed with this company. They aren’t even the cheapest around either. Wish I could give zero stars I would. First things first ; I’m doing the initial stuff with the guy and he’s having me sign stuff after going over the cars inspection visually. He said something about extra coverage (even though I gave my insurance info) I asked why I needed that and he said “it covers everything 100% if yours doesn’t” he never once said it was optional. So me, being trusting, I didn’t read anything and just signed it all to hurry and leave I had a 10 hour ride ahead of me. I booked the car prior to pick up online for $98…. After I get in the car- gas light comes on! So I have to go get gas immediately. I checked my email and saw the car wasn’t $98 it was now $140 so I reviewed the receipt only to find he added a bunch of “optional” add ons. I called and they said they would remove them. (They did remove those- but added something else lol) they’re very very sneaky and greedy. The car was also a mess. Didn’t even look cleaned. Upon returning the car to another state (mind you I put that in the pre booking of the car so they KNEW I wouldn’t be returning to the same location a week ahead of time) they try to charge a “one time fee” of $100. Basically I didn’t choose them to return I went with Avis and only spent $90 and actually had gas in the car. Wasn’t charged extra fees for anything and it was straight forward and way faster service. I wish I could get my money back but I will NEVER book with them again. I’ve also switched our company rentals and my sisters company rentals to another company. No more with these sneaky, greedy liars.

Had an "emergency" work situation, this branch hooked me up with a super clean and sleek Nissan Altima in no time at all, the manager personally expediting my situation, kept my on schedule and working...great job, guys!

Had to rent a vehicle for a very sad occasion. The staff made me feel like a family member. They had sincere empathy in their dealings with me. The car was nice but could have been a little cleaner, but it was fine. Overall it was a very comfortable trip. Made it to my destination and back safely. I would highly recommend Enterprise for your rental needs

Was waited on promptly and on my way very fast. Pick and drop off were both quick and easy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Very accommodating all the way around. Will use you in the future.
