The staff can be quite rude for no reason or seem very miserable, often there are carts with supplies blocking the aisles as many have said before and they often don't have basic things stocked that I'm looking for such as cat supplies. Overall not the worst place to shop but if it wasn't conveniently on my way home from work I wouldn't shop here.

Yes they run out of room for stock but they are doing alot better. People that work there are very plesant.

Most of the Dollar General stores I've been in are so disgustingly dirty and cluttered. There's no room to walk in them because there's boxes everywhere. The floors are a mess.

I don’t understand why this store is always such a mess. There are hand carts with merchandise packed inboxes blocking the aisles ALL THE TIME. They closed to do renovations which did made the frozen food selection bigger.They need a bigger space and people to stock at night when the store is closed. Store on Route 29 is much nicer to shop in.

I am fed up with DG, our Scotia , NY location remodeled our store and removed one cash register and replaced it with two self check outs registers thats hard to use. This store is poorly ran. Baskets, carts, and floors are dirty. Aisles are blocked by large boxes of items. Somedays, short of staff with one person, and long lines of people waiting to checkout. Employee told me, they have only six regular staff members. Manager maybe reason for people quitting and he's not customer friendly. I spend around $3,000 per year there and I have stock shares in this company. DG thrives because of locations in small towns thats in walking distance. Only positive is low prices, diversity of products, and $5 coupons. But I want to call their headquarters because staff who's nice, and customers have to put with lousy services. DG makes too much money to have poor quality service. DG headquarters if you are listening, please rescue this store.

This one lady who works there, noon on Aug 3rd, she's always so freaking miserable for literally no reason, no matter how nice you are to her she acts like her puppy just died or something. Everyone else is very nice a chipper but that lady is awful!!!

Employees at my local road general are fantastic. They're always friendly and quick to help you if you have questions about anything and like always that have great prices. Thank you for general and employees for always making it a pleasure to shop at my local DG.
