Called John about a 2010 Subaru Legacy with a rotted sub frame
Asked if he could work on it. Said he would call back in a hour had to check and see if he could find a frame .One hour later John called back and said he found a fame
Agreed on a price - dropped the car off other than a delay on the frame being delivered
John had the car fixed as quoted in five days. …………. Outstanding Service

My daughter called and they where able to get her in within the hour, than they told her that she needed $3600 worth of work done to her car, her tires where at 3/32nds tread which is passable for MVI, her rotors where at 3mm which is also a pass for MVI, they told her her tires where the wrong size, they where 65’s not 60’s nothing to do with MVI, they said it needed a wheel alignment but when I let go of the steering wheel at 100 km it doesn’t move from center, she had a hole in the plastic bumper they said it had to be replaced or covered over for MVI, what does that have to do with safety of the vehicle, they said nothing about the rear brake light that was not working, they asked about things that have nothing to do with safety of the vehicle, like changing the brake fluid and rad fluid and transmission fluid, I drove vehicles for almost 50 years and never once replaced brake fluid only topped up if I changed a caliber or a line, never replaced transmission fluid on a vehicle which had 300000 on it, she gets regular oil and filter changes and just did in January and they never said anything about safety being up or brakes needing service or any other issues and that garage does a 40 point inspection with every oil change, so your telling her that in a month and a half that all these things just got bad, I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone and will never ever go back

Use another mechanic. Took car here few times always unorganized with poor communication. However last time taking car here with an electrical issue they replaced multiple parts that were not broken. Kept my car overnights for extended periods. Provided no updates. Rarely answered phone. Had to go back multiple times because they could not solve the car issue. Spent over $1,000 and hours of my time. They ultimately never fixed the issue. They Then stopped picking up phone when I called them to tell them car was still not fixed. Took car to dealership and they fixed in an afternoon. I would recommend to save your time and money and go to a more reputable company.Service: Engine repair

Brought in my vintage Mopar with a front frame/shock issue - he diagnosed it, fabricated the needed parts. The owner John Sr knows his stuff and did very well by me. I’m taking the car back to him next week to help with another issue — something my Troy mechanic messed up six months ago.
