I love shopping at my local CVS it’s convenient, clean, and it’s in my community. The staff is always willing to help and I can usually find what I need. Keep up the great work!

Well the pharmacy is very rude. Everyone was very rude to my sister in law when she was just trying to pick up prescription. I don’t see why that should be an issue or why the employees at the pharmacy would be rude. I don’t see myself coming back here again.

I would rate this pharmacy zero star, the absolutely worst customer service. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They will have customers standing waiting and completely ignore them. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. The doctor will send them a script for syringes then they will give the med without the syringes then you have to join another line and wait another hour before one of them acknowledge you again or help you.

The pharmacy has people that are unprofessional and they take advantage and use your time and hold your medication hostage at times. Little girls that don't know there jobs and get mad and frustrated easily and take their anger on the customer. I am changing my pharmacy and never coming back here. It's illegal for them to do that and lie to you about when your day is and it's not your day and make you come for no reason. Back and forth. Lie about when it due and then make you late for the day it was needed.

If I could give them less than one, I would. I did business with this branch of CVS for 23 years (two different locations). The customer service interactions with this pharmacy has surely gone downhill in the last several years. Today was the last straw. I had been given a prescription for a sleeping aid due to my wife dying last week. I knew I needed to sleep but, it continued to allude me. Three times I attempted to pick up this prescription. The line was always ridiculously long with the staff seemingly moving in slow motion. On my third attempt, I waited out the (drive thru) line…8 cars. When I was finally pulling up to the window, the attendant put an “I’m sorry drive thru lane closed and dropped her curtain. There was 6 other cars behind me. I was so upset, I couldn’t go around, park the car, walk in and deal with that interaction. I went and got a bite to eat and came back. Waited in line for quite awhile 9 or ten people and was finally given the prescription. I felt that the way they handled the closing of the drive thru line was improper, rude, and could of (should of) been done in a more professional manner. I won’t be back. I told the pharmacist that they need to rethink that protocol. I’ll be taking all my future prescriptions to some other (non-CVS) facility and I would urge all to look elsewhere as well. This store, in particular, couldn’t care less about their customers.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. Avoid this establish as if it was the source of the plague.I did business with this establishment for 23 years but, today was the last straw. I tried to pick up a prescription that I needed because after my wife's sudden passing, my doctor thought it would be a good idea for me to sleep. I tried three times to pick up this prescription over two days. The lines were incredibly long and moving in what seemed like slow motion. The staff are clearly unhappy with their own lot I. Life and only grunt out one word responses to questions. The third time I was there, I stayed in the drive thru line for 30 minutes (8 cars). When I finally pulled up to the window, the attendant put up a hand written sign that said "drive thru closed" and drew the curtain. I was livid. I chose not to go in the store at that point because of how upset I was. I came back after eating (1 hour). Went inside, stood in line for another 40 minutes (10 people) and finally claimed my prescription. I asked to speak to a manager but, only got the pharmacist. I told her that they really should rethink the protocol of how they close the drive thru lane. That kind of behavior is rude, uncalled for, and unprofessional. The only response I got was "sorry."I won't be back and I would urge all others to strongly consider getting any prescriptions filled at some other (non-CVS) establishment. It's pretty apparent that this branch couldn't care less about their customers.

This is another place in Rotterdam/Schenectady that tops my list of places to avoid. They used to be on Hamburg St, and I have been a customer since then. Like 25 years? Anyway, I followed them to Chrysler Ave when corporate decided to merge the two stores, and sadly, it saw a steady decline. After the original pharmacists' I was familiar with, were transferred or retired, and there was a revolving door of pharmacists. Some good, some bad.Lately, it is all bad. My ex-girlfriend, her son, and my prescriptions were regularly messed up on a level that is frightening. If you give someone the wrong medications, people can die. It happened at Draper Pharmacy, and the lawsuit and backlash drove them out of business. They claim they call my Doctors office. However, my doctor's office would always tell me they did not, in fact, call. The other day, while in there with my ex, the one pharmacist said to the other pharmacist coming on shift in a loud and clearly audible voice, "Welcome to hell."There is an ever changing register staff, and the majority are rude and clearly hate their jobs because they do nothing that indicates they care, and they are poorly trained and ineffectual. The parking lot is an embarrassment, if the store manager or district manager walk through there and don't immediately feel moved to get it cleaned with a sense of urgency they are either unable to see or just don't care enough to bother. I can say that without exaggeration, it is the most disgusting parking lot I have ever walked through. I have actually seen things that literally triggered a gag reflex they were so vile.I would urge you to consider moving your scripts to the CVS in Rotterdam closer to 4 corners. The Chrysler Ave store is a vile cesspool. I had an experience the other day that was almost comical, I was complaining about how they made a huge mistake with one of my scripts and I advised them I was going to call corporate and one employee at the register ACTUALLY said "Please do, it's horrible here". I was at a loss for words. At any rate, I can't stress strongly enough that you should avoid this place like the plague. My scripts are now with Market 32 on Altamont Ave, and they are amazing.

Sad to say, we join the complainers! We are patient and polite with others, yet notice many staff changes and inconsistent service from several that act clueless and exude ignorance when asked clear, direct questions, even lying until you ask for senior staff or management. I literally considered running for the hills when I heard a drive through customer lambaste a pharmacy staffer of the same ethnicity with a racial slur. “Going postal?”, I pray not!

Incompetent pharmacy; incompetent and unprofessional staff. They do not even know how to ring up an Over The Counter item; the OTC items aren’t even marked on the shelf. Staff says CVS won’t send labels. Avoid this location.

Went through drive thru and was in line 45-50 mins for a pick up and no one comes to the window then went calling them to let them know I’m out there, no answer on their phones. Not everyone has the capability of walking into the pharmacy! Waste of my time and gas! Been on hold on the phone now 15 minutes with no answer. Prior to that the first call transferred to them and hanged up on me. Horrible! Changing pharmacies!
