Buyer Beware: if you have a high-end kitchen design this place is NOT for you.
If I could give Capital Stone 0 stars I would. I visited Capital stone in Nov 2023 and provided them with the architectural plans for my new home build. I was very clear what I wanted and asked that they tell me if they could do the job or not. I was told it was no problem. I was clear that the kitchen cabinetry would not be installed until the spring. Over the winter my cabinetmakers spoke to the fabricators to make certain that they were designing the island appropriately to support the stone we had picked out.
In February I contacted Capital Stone again to ask about fabricating a few more counters and was told sure, NO PROBLEM. I started going to the stone showrooms they work with in early Mach to pick out backsplash material. I was given several quotes/options. NOT ONCE was I told this project couldn't be done or that they couldn't fit me in the schedule (although I'd given them SIX MONTHS lead time).
Now today - in early APRIL one month out from templating I get a call from the owner saying they CANNOT DO THE JOB because it's "too big" and they don't have the people available and there are too many mitered edges although they'd known all this and I'd been in constant contact with them for MONTHS about the job. Then the guy had the absolute gall to BLAME ME for thinking he'd hold a spot for me although six months is generally the lead time you'd want to give a fabricator for a LARGE JOB.
Building a new home is not for the faint of heart. But to leave a homeowner in the lurch like this at the VERY LAST MINUTE is unconscionable and absolutely SHAMEFUL. No apology. No trying to work with us. Who would even trust someone like this to fabricate decent counters after this kind of behavior?

Fantastic Experience from start to finish. Michaela was knowledgeable, patient and very responsive to our questions. Once we selected the counter we wanted, Carmine and his team took over. They too were very responsive and professional throughout the entire process. The entire process from start to finish took less than 3 weeks. I wish all contractors were as good as the Capital Stone team!

They did a beautiful install but unfortunately it was the wrong granite. Waited a very long time for another piece of granite to replace the error. In all fairness, we received fair compensation for the error, however, the whole process became irritating when the timeframe was well over a month and the installer used excuses like "over booked" and "under staffed. ". Not my problem dude.
