βMy fuel pump failed 280 miles from home on N.Y. Thruway in late afternoon. Tow truck driver brought me to Ankers, who had me back on the road in 24 hours. I wonβt be able to use them again, but Iβd recommend them to anyone. Also thanks to tow truck driver for taking me there.β

βI sent in a set of 8 injectors. Jim received them, did the testing and wrote back with a really nice write up of the tests performed and what he had found. When I received them back they looked like there were brand new.
Extremely pleased with the service. Quick turnaround and Jim offered up some recommendations for the rest of my fuel system based on what he found during the inspection.β

βI brought my car in because the A/C had stopped working. Instead of any sort of upsell, Chris advised me to just grab a can of refrigerant from down the block at AutoZone. He showed me how to do this relatively simple procedure, and then was actually in touch for the rest of the day via text, asking how things were going. Dude probably saved me at least a hundred bucks, and also earned all of my future business. His honesty and helpfulness were a breath of fresh air. Cannot recommend highly enough.β

βI stopped in to get my car inspected. I was unaware that you had to schedule this so I ended up needing to come back another day. It is not unreasonable, especially as you get closer to the end of the month, but it was inconvenient. However, as always the staff at this location is efficient, I gave them a timeline to complete by the end of my work day and it was done well before then. Also, my car is geriatric, meaning some part is always needing to be replaced. I needed new brakes, they called to tell me, gave me the price point, and completed it as well even though I had signed up for was my inspection. All in all this is still the location and garage I will use for ease of use, efficient time frame to complete work, convenient Saturday hours when needed, and reasonable prices.β
βJohn is just the most perfect mechanic. He knows cars, and he takes pride in diagnosing a problem and getting it fixed the first. We've never had to take our vehicles back 2 times for the same problem. And he's honest enough to tell you if he won't be able to do a repair. To top it all off, he's such a gentleman.β

I regrettably learned that lesson the hard way when I left for college and expected every place to be as fair, upfront and honest as Pro Auto. They were not. Hence the reason I return to the one mechanic shop i can truly trust.
