“I've gone to these guys a bunch of times for oil changes. The other day. There was a little oil leaking out of my car after an oil change. I didn't think much of it but then I noticed it was still going on a few weeks later. I went back to them and they changed the filter and fixed it. No extra charge. No problem. These guys take pride in their work.”

“Honest, reliable, quick - we could not have had a better experience! These guys are the best. We brought our 10 year old Subaru Forester into the Subaru Stamford dealership for a rattling noise and we were quoted 11K to repair a "mechanical failure" with the engine. Thank god we brought it to Red's for a second opinion. Joe Jr. squeezed us in to be seen right away and upon arriving did a quick check of our engine oil to discover that there was literally no oil. Can you believe this is how Subaru Stamford returned our car to us?! Especially after we paid them $700 for a synthetic oil change/tune up less than four months prior... Upon further inspection, Red's determined that aside from not having oil it in the engine was running fine. When we picked our car up - Joe Sr. took the time to show us how to check the oil and top it off ourselves. “Love this Valvoline. You don’t have to leave you car; the staff explains all your levels. They are quick, it’s an easy process and you pay from the comfort of your car. Last visit they pulled up a machine that showed the flushing my old oil and I saw the mechanics adding in the new oil. I know what I’m getting because I can see it happening in front of me.”

“Place can be a time trap on the weekends and after work for oil changes, so go early. The guys are nice but always try to squeeze every penny they can get out of an oil change. Be mindful, watch them check air conditioning fliters and make sure they're giving you "good' oil. Use the free car wash even if it's raining. Unless you live around there, you're going to forget to use it. Don't forget to tip.”

I am thankful for the quick and efficient service I had for my Chrysler Pacifica today. All 3 individuals I encountered today were professional and pleasant. In my day to day life, making appts for service is highly difficult. This shop does not require appts, has ample parking, and is handicapped accessible.”

“They take advantage with the prices but the tech guys are actually pretty good. If you are a car guy and know about places like this and how they function this one is actually pretty darn good. As an old guy I’ve found it’s worth the extra only ten bucks or so to let someone well younger than me and with an easy setup under the vehicle to do my oil changes.
I’ve had very bad experiences. The valvolene place on central ave in white plains actually over tightened my drain plug and cracked my belly pan on a vehicle so points to this place for never damaging any of my vehicles brought here.
Convenient location, friendly staff, and a free car wash w the oil change. That’s 5 stars baby”

“I was stuck in Scarsdale when steam was coming out of the hood of my Jeep ?, and l am not from the area, l asked my phone about a repair shop near my location, and l was given few places, l called the first one, was answer machine, l called the second number, it was somebody who was yelling at someone, and asked me if l have cash?, then l called JC auto repairs, and Amy answered, and she asked me if l was OK, and if l needed to be towed, and l should check my insurance carrier if l qualified for roadside assistance, otherwise she will recommend someone, and l was connected with Mike, he was equally courteous, informing, and assuring. When l reached the place with my towed car, Mike told me to go to the office upstairs, and make myself comfortable, that’s when l met Amy, Papa John, the owner, who told me not to worry, and the car will be fixed, and it will be done the next day, and he told me how much it will cost, and actually drove me to the train station to go to NYC. I went back when John called to pick up the car, and everything was done and more. I am amazed how this family business is running efficiently, with customer services that do not exist with this industry. Kudos to you John, and all your family, and staff ??????”
